Love the fact that the time is taken to do this. I once drive by and found 2 full boxes of rack sacks, I immediately went to the orphanage and donated to the less fortunate children. I always say I'm blessed everyday ,to many people complain about what they don't have ,instead of being thankful what they do have. God bless you for doing God's work.
You can totally restore that phone to factory settings through iTunes and have it as a backup or give it to someone that needs it. Excellent finds! Stay blessed 😊

joedog625 unfortunately not with the newest iPhone 📲 📱 only because once there locked meaning called in lost or stolen there’s nothing nobody can do to get them to work it a paper weight then. Trust me nobody can activate the phone 📲 📱 anymore now it will turn on and light up but that it you won’t be able to make calls or even watch CZcams. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

What made you to think to ever fo this ?
I began and run a food ministry called CPR Food Program. Some of my people are afraid for anyone to know they are homeless. Our county runs them out of town.😡 We give out care bags once a year too. Toiletries snacks socks and a throw. I wish I could do so much more.
A lot of the time we take for granted with what we are blessed with, a home, food, clothing, etc... We need to take a minute and think about those who are homeless and have nothing!.. people are too busy getting on lines for hours for a new phone or any other electronic device, we complain about black Friday when the stores don’t have what we want!.. I always tell people, especially my kids, before you complain about anything, think about the things you are blessed with now because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring and never take anything for granted!.. Angel, may you and your family be blessed this Thanksgiving Day and always!

I thought you could go to any Apple Store and they will revive your gear-I may be wrong but I had a laptop I bought second hand and they cleaned it and worked out all the bugs for me

That first bag. Wow. Even if the person didn’t want those items, donating the items is way better. Also, the Apple products, at least take them to Apple and recycle them versus throwing them away.
If you like the music on the iPod there is a way to take the music off of it and put it on your iPhone or iPod laptop or whatever

The capitalism in this country does not help but most importantly, everything is a domino effect. You lose things you lose people. Most of the time it is a choice, but sometimes things just happen to you that you could have never foresaw or prevented. Life is fucked up like that. Try not to judge so much. ♥️

I just can't understand why people throw away iPhones and iPods that still work! All they have to do is clear their information off and donate it. The furniture can be donated too. All they have to do is call and the thrift store or Salvation Army will come pick it up. That's what we do when we have things to donate.
My son needed a couch for his college apartment and found a great one at our local thrift store for $30. He called and had it cleaned by furniture cleaners. When he graduated next year, he'll still have a good sofa for his next apartment. You would never guess he bought it at a thrift store.
The thrift store we donate to and buy from supports five charities and missions. More people need to be aware! Tfs!
I was buying homeless people a meal every time I went for a takeaway (they sit around the corner), but then I found out they weren't homeless at all, just con artists.
I did that one time too and the people didn't want the food.

I used to work in a mall and managers to prevent dumpster diving would take merchandise that needed thrown away to separate buildings to throw things away such as behind banks where they made nightly deposits. Here in Texas we have what are called “Blessing Boxes” where you can contact churches or mom n pops store or even people kind enough to put on corners of yards to dont the canned foods or small items such as gloves hats ect

My mom donated a box of clothes to a "poor family" once. They were not name brand or the latest style but they were clean, undamaged and classic/basic.
Guess what happened?
She found the same box of clothes in the dumpster!
And one of my neighbors donated food to a different "poor family". No big name brand foods or expensive treats. Just the basics. The next day they gave the food back and told her "We don't eat that shit."
Ever since then we only help family and friends.
I use to live in a homeless women's shelter and when we got donations it was like Christmas! Bless you for what you do!

Our neighborhood churches have blessing boxes outside. People can fill them whenever and people in need can take what they need. It holds everything from food, to drinks, to toiletries.

The only bad thing about ur friends having a change of clothes in the small space is...that after changing from the old clothes into the much newer ones, they should just throw the old ones into the dumpster instead of throwing them down,they may be homeless but it won't hurt to be tidy, if u know what I mean.
