I've wanted to cover Roblox on this channel for a long time. So when I played Rainbow Friends over on @GTLive , I knew I had to make a theory. This game has the mysterious lore and creepy characters that remind me of FNAF and Poppy Playtime. Let's see if their hidden lore is just as terrifying or if what is hiding in this game is even deadlier than we could imagine...

If you haven't looked into it before, Duolingo (yes, the language-learning app) actually has some pretty deep lore that is worth digging into. Not just in regards to the memey green owl, but the side cast of recurring characters that are explored through the "stories" section of the app.

It's probably a symbol that meant that he left the company and Trenton is no longer working with as so in the ruins of the place he used to work to he removed his partners face out of the picture.
that's because when you look through glass in roblox decals are invsi, so it may have just been an accident so I wouldnt pay attention to it that much.

I feel like "You only slowed me down" could also hold a double meaning. On top of the "you didn't stop me" message, it could also suggest that Trenton considered Davis to be a weak link in his experiments, and having him gone has actually streamlined his operation.

something i found near the machine thing with the writing "this is where they were made", there is what looks to be a modle of a forest of some sort. hidden in it is a glowing 'thing'. i dont know what it could be but if you do this again you should take a look at it

What if their was a third, silent, partner who was conducting the experiments? Trenton found out and went to Oswald to confront him but Oswald took the coward’s way out and ran away, leaving his friend to the mercy of the doctor. After transforming into Red, Trenton killed off the doctor and vowed to go after his former friend/partner for abandoning him.
(At this that’s my interpretation)
I think trenton is the old man in chapter 2
He has the same square body (also, Oswald has the same body as Red) and also the same face
This makes me think that the game takes place many years later, because Trenton is old (And Red as a monster can't age)
The thing behind the glass isn’t super rare in roblox surprisngly. it has been used to see threw anything that is also transparent, but the way it is used in the painting is unique

I also had the idea that the Rainbow Friends were nice until Red did something to them, hence Blue's docile eyes. (im not new to the game but i just realized u made a video on it which im pretty happy u did)
Watching this in the future and now understanding the hints towards style theory being announced.
That glass changing the picture is actually extremely cool, really raises the quality level of Rainbow Friends in my opinion.

I honestly do like playing rainbow friends, so it’s nice to find a theory on it. I’ve been wondering if anyone else noticed that Blue doesn’t have his button eye in the “Blue’s First Friend” picture?

[Edit] if you look at the cartoon pictures in the party room, you can see that all the friends went through some changes since then and now. Like orange had more circular eyes and less teeth, and green had more human like teeth and 4 fingers.
When we found out that the pic changed when u looked into the glass I had to check that out! Amazing lore!

6:11 I think the floormarkers are a hint to look closer into Red. The numbers show the same color in order as the rainbow friends appear, but Red isn't red - it's a lavender-ish color. When you showed the trick with the glass and Trentons picture (10:31) he has the color on his hat. Coincidence?

That makes me think... maybe the order tells us, that Trenton was turned into a lavender coloured monster after the purple one (and maybe will be revealed in another chapter). And Red could be Davis, who turned himself into a monster or was turned into the red monster way after the other creations so that his color doesn't appear as a floormarker because it was after the building of the themepark? He wears a red shirt in his picture frame tho, maybe thats another hint... 🤔

I think it’s kinda interesting that you can see potential inspiration in a lot of things, and while I’m not the biggest fan of Roblox, it’s neat to see folks making their own stories, using things like Minecraft or Roblox as a medium to express. I just think that’s one of the powers of these kinds of games.

I'm glad he touched on the Yellow and Pink things too. Especially since the writing on the wall "This is where they were actually made" is in Blue Orange Green Yellow Pink Red. I'm looking forward to more updates for this game.
I feel like the pink/magenta is suppose to be purple, but the color can be difficult to see when written in texture like it was on the wall so it was brightened up.

Blue is the basic entity it does everything the others do but worse
Green is blind so they won't chase you since they can't see but they can find you even if you hide and have longer reach
Orange chases you at high speeds if you are right in front of them getting away is almost impossible especially with the update, although orange is confined to running on a specific trail
Purple hides in vents making them harder to spot but if you walk anywhere except for the footsteps in the ink puddles when purple is there it kills you it can switch vents every once in a while
Red is the mastermind in a lab coat and mostly the only one with human levels of intelligence, but he does nothing other than give you tasks and in useless in game although not useless for lore.

I actually love the color Claret, it’s basically a shade of red that you would expect wine in animation to be. I really like it because it’s actually the color of Invader Zims eyes. And it’s just a neat detail to me. I think a lot of colors on the show had posh sounding names, maybe that’s why the colors always looked so interesting

Trent is the old man because he has glasses and the same smile. I think Oswald is red because of the red flanel, and that the reason it says Oswald was last one is because Trent found out HE was experimenting trapped Oswald and logged on to his computer. The reason it says Oswald is probally because only he could transform them and thats why TRENT didn't know.

@@justindai8401 I can definitely see Matpad making a Piggy theory somewhat in the future, but I doubt he's gonna do it about Mimic since he seems to mostly talk about more kid friendly looking games. I think he made a Rainbow Friends theory because of the resemblance with Poppy Playtime and Fnaf, and because he wanted to keep it small (this wasn't much of a theory after all. Just revealing who did it)
Also, the picture in the glass might just be saying he was the cofounder. Kreek thinks that the owner is red and that trenton is the old man now in chapter 2. I also noticed that the owner was wearing a RED shirt
