That Art Teacher:
HI! My name is Sierra Machado and I am a public school art teacher in Oklahoma. I spent the first six years of my career teaching at a visual art magnet program at a high school in South Carolina. I spent the past six years at an intermediate school in Oklahoma, and I'm moving back to the high school level for year 13.
Who else is watching this for a art project 👋

Nice art
Thank you so much 😀
This project made me cry
What doesn’t kill you 💀💛
love your stuff! are these about a foot long? I'm debating having them measure everything to make sure they get the proportions right-how did you get them to create accurate proportions?
Thank you so much! They are a variety of sizes, but mostly close to a foot! So we use the head as a unit of measurement, so each one will follow their own proportions. You could totally give your students a standard size to work with, which would help eliminate the guesswork 💛
So beautiful dear friend 💖
Thank you so much
thankyou ms. this helped me lol
I am so glad to hear that!
Nice
Very nice
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️

This is so cool!! It’s like those wooden figures that you find at IKEA or something, except wire. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️
@@ThatArtTeacher Your welcome!
May i ask what kind of wire should i use? Need help
I put a link in the description box 💛
Thank you so much for this tutorial and this channels existence! You managed to push me out of my lump that I didnt know how to proceed from, but now I do thanks to you ❤ I love your art btw 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind words 💛💛💛
So this can be used for sculpture?
Yes! I’m playing around with adding plaster strips for a different look.
❤ great
Thank you!
Amazing! Very impressive 🤩👍. Your wire figure is so great. Thanks for sharing, my friend ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 🤗
It would be nice to have measurements because I got to a point where I finished 1 leg and I had no wire left.
I have my students about three feet to start with, but we didn’t use exact measurements. We added wire as needed. A formula would solve any of the guess work for sure!
Really great tutorial! Thank you :)
Thank you!!
Should I make my armature this way if I want to sculpt a ballerina on one toe( on blocks), using air dry clay?
You can do that, you just won’t need as much wire! One of my students just tried that out too.
Looks so fun! How much wire did you use for this project?
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️
I am a terrible teacher and did not keep track. I usually buy about five 14 gauge aluminum wire spools per class per semester.
Amazing dear...really very cool😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much 😊
QUE LINDA ABILIDAD ME GUSTA
💛💛💛💛💛
What gauge wire did you use?
12! I prefer a slightly thinner gauge, but I ran with what I had in stock. ❤️
How many gauge is that?
Thank you so much for showing my friend. This is a very good instructional video. Still here for a long time (use to be Family Art Fun). Have a beautiful weekend my friend. 😀😀😀
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️
awesome Craft, so beautiful. great sharing.
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️
Wow this is amazing !!!
Thank you so much, Ivan!
Love what u did.. Was a bit perplexed that u referred to pelvic girdle as creepiest bit
Thanks! I just hate the word combo. Also I teach teenagers so 😎
@@ThatArtTeacher ok
But if you refer to body parts as creepy there may be a chance that those teens will develop complexes . U know these days you can't even say boo
@@melina1337 🙂
Great video!!! Had a little Trouble keeping up to pace yay pause button lol
Thank you! yes, the pause button is KEY! I can barely keep up with myself 😂❤

I have a public Facebook page, That Art Teacher 💛
Lol doing it right now
Hi!
Would I make my armature this way if I want to make a ballerina on one toe on blocks?
That should work! What materials are you adding to the wire?
I already do this since a very young age but instead of metal wires I played with wires found in internet cables there pretty flimsy barely could stand on their own but I didn't care I made a full lore out of it idk what their names were overall I am weird
Fantastic video #krishnayadavds
Thank you so much 😀
Who else is here because of Art Appreciation (College)
Welcome! 💛

65 feet?! Is that correct?
I never measure 💀😖
While this style of sculpture isn't the kind I'll need for my project, this is a neat tutorial! Batman bikini has no right to be as funny as it is 😂
Thank you! 🤣
Batman bikini never gets old
Me
It can be called as a sculpture already))
Thank you so much!! 🥰🎨❤️
Las que no hablan inglés 🌚
Good tutorial but awful "background" music which you were competing with and you lost!
