Love it! I know there were a few mixes of this song in 1977, but I've never heard one with a drum shuffle...could easily be Bernard Purdy or Jeff Porcaro laying down this track - Mario, just fantastic. Love the harmonies in the backing vox, IIRC they were unison on the original. Give Andy Seymore a nice smooth vocal and he'll make it even smoother! Love the vintage key patches Darren, the guitar solo was spot on and a nice grounded bass. Better than the original, in my humble....

When you got some great guitarists on board, it would be a sin if you didn't ask them to 'show off'. Some fans really love these. But seriously, it depends on the arrangement, whether the lead guitarist need to 'shine' or not, like in this case. Compared to Darren's former channel now, at least we are lucky to see so many great guitar solos here at SIL, and that in part makes this channel stand out to discerning fans. Moreover, one needs to have chops to 'show off' convincingly.
