Cinderella 3: a twist in time is better than the original Cinderella movie. It was so great that Disney turned it into a Disney cruise stage production called twice charmed. It has amazing songs including an empowering number Cinderella sings called More Than A Dream. It’s such a good movie.

The woman who voiced Melody is Tara Strong, who voiced Twilight Sparkle, Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls, among other characters!!! This, The Little Mermaid 2, was the first thing I saw with Tara Strong!

For a while, seemed like the plot of EVERY vidquell was “The classic characters had a kid (who felt misunderstood because the parents couldn’t connect)!” After a half dozen, we eventually figured out it was because Disney wasn’t selling them to kids, they were selling them to PARENTS with money...And who still wanted to dream of being Ariel, Simba, Lady, Wendy, etc.
Tara Strong was cute as Melody and while the songs are not as memorable or grand as its predecessor but I enjoyed this more then the 1st..Melody is a better protagonist then Ariel! Also there was a deleted Morgana song..it's online if you want to see it and Pat Carol who played Ursula plays her sister!

In the current licensing stage musical, it’s explained in the song “Daddy’s Little Angel” that Ursula was the youngest of the seven daughters of Poseidon. He tried to ease his guilt for being a terrible father by gifting Ursula the magic nautilus shell. She used black magic to commit fratricide and later patricide when she still couldn’t win her father’s love. When Triton came of age, he claimed his place as king and banished Ursula. In the final confrontation, it’s revealed that Ursula was responsible for the death of Ariel’s mother. 🖤💜🖤💚

I will have to recommend Black Cauldron if you haven’t seen it, it’s one of the darker Disney movies and isn’t well liked but I think it’s a lot better than it’s given credit for. Has a memorable villain if not hero

As much as I love Little mermaid 2... The bodies of all the characters look so small or their limbs were shorten~ they all look disproportioned. I guess that they did that cause the main character is a kid. Meaning the camera or panning wont be difficult? Idk~thats just my guess. But when melody and ariel were singing???? When ariel was by an anchor, her body was rightly proportioned for an adult.
In 11:32 to 11:41 Morgana told Melody useful advice. And correct that Melody doesn't want to be just a lowly human anymore, but a Mermaid instead. 🧜🏻♀️
