I found a lot of joy watching this. As a kid, we used to get food boxes from the local food pantry. My mom couldn't really afford to buy much to supplement the hodgepodge of canned foods. As the oldest child, it was my job to get creative and make up new recipes each week for the family. I used to pretend I was a TV chef and narrate my crazy concoctions. Not all of them were winners but I never lost my job as the "family chef." This felt very nostalgic for me and I absolutely loved all your humor.
I love when your videos get uploaded. you remind me of the Bob Ross of daily life. just soothing and comforting whether it be cooking or crafts. love it

With every new ingredient you showed, I became more and more appalled lmao. This was so nostalgic to watch. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I would just grab a bunch of random ingredients and cook them together. The end results were very rarely edible but still fun to make lol. I was also that kid who would try the weird new food and tell others how it tasted while they watched in amused horror.
This is GREAT! You're being yourself and having fun. The cooking sounds are wonderful, particularly the pan sizzle. I dunno if you remember the "Brave Little Toaster" movie, but when you said the "nervous little casserole dish" I fell out. 😂😂❤️

I’ve tried to watch the shop video but always seem to fall asleep when you move the cereal to where it belongs, I was excited to see what you got and what you made. You remind me of my grandma. She was the youngest daughter and her mom died when she was young and her older sisters would shoo her away from the kitchen and didn’t teach her how to cook so she would bake things and make weird casseroles but my mom was inspired to learn how to cook in college so I learned at a young age how to bake and cook things, we all did, my siblings all learned how to cook so I am glad Grandma couldn’t cook very well haha. But I’m sure you cook just fine, it’s just this video reminded me of her so thank you for that.

I was curious about the key lime pie filling, so I had to look it up. It is non-dairy, a lot like lemon meringue pie filling. The usual key lime pie recipe is eggs, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice.

So after doing a quick Google search, apparently those white dots that appear in the spam are crystallizations of tyrosine amino acid. Formation of these crystals takes place during the Iberian hams maturation process. Whatever that means. Just thought I would find out for both of us. 😅

My friend was grounded by his parents for 2 weeks & had his games console taken from him, he wasn't happy about it at all, when his mum & dad were at work he took all the labels off all the cans in the cupboard & binned them 🤣🙈
They had no idea what was in any of the cans and every day was lucky dip 😆
I was so excited for the little bowls debut!
For a wedding gift our friends gave us a basket of canned goods with all the labels removed. For several months we would open and can and see how we could fit it in our meal. :)

The only way that pie would set is if you stuck it in the freezer lol 😆
One trick to getting something out of a can is to use a can opener to make a hole in the bottom. Doesn’t work with all types of can though!

Maybe instead of the soup mix and the water separate you make the soup and use it as the liquid? That might help the rice not be so hard....or skip the wild rice part and just scoop the seasoning in.
