Does this take a class A to operate?
@@user-vq3vy8cl6g no, it’s not a combination vehicle.
@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver really a super dump on a class b? I figured the weight would put it in the class a field.
@@user-vq3vy8cl6g weight doesn’t matter. Class A just refers to the combination of vehicles, ie semi truck and trailer. There is no stipulation about weight
So so glad you're back hope the family is good really missed your videos keep them coming in stay safe
Good to see the new rig. With respect to drop axles and air pressure, if you keep them at a minimum or zero, your rig air compressor is satisfactory to have those items that use air will have sufficient air to function. Only adjust the drop axle pressure when you need them. Enjoy your new toy!
This video proves the best man for the job is........still a man.
Another great video. You're definitely worthy of this new truck with the skills you have, congratulations. I've been an operator most of my life and have seen good drivers and bad drivers, I'd take drivers like you all day. Drive safely.
That is a sweet looking truck. I guess I'm one of those weird old people now because I just can't give up shifting my truck.
hawki5120 I hear ya! We don’t have to worry about them pesky codes like, “not in neutral “ won’t start or “clutch overheat”
We just press and go.... lol
yeah but exspemnsive here in canada $89,000 for one here for the same size but my girl and daughter in los angeles u.s.a doesnt want me get into trucking wich is kinda long day plus trucks here are exspensive
It wasn’t my choice but I’ll say this, it is absolutely not in a companies best interest to buy manuals. The majority of drivers who have had their CDL for less than 10 years are not legal to drive a manual. They have a hard enough time finding people to fill the seats, cutting out such a huge Chunk of the driver population would be stupid.
Dauminique The Dump Truck Driver, you make very valid points. I ran a transfer in SoCal for a while. Both automatic and manual. I have to say I hated that automatic. No finesse. Backing into the horns made you look like a rook lol.
It’s definitely unfortunate the way of drivers and automatics. You lose a level of experience, not being able to control the vehicle on your own. But, it’s a sign of the times lol. Good looking kdub tho! Good luck, and keep that greasy side on the ground.
@@jonlaster7686 The truck has an allison miles better than an autoshift.
Wow! Your truck is definitely the pride of the fleet now Dom.
Good on you for figuring out your no 1 drop axle issue. It all helps with learning how things work. I think your PTO needs to be on for the back axle because its hydraulically operated, and the PTO pump needs to be on for oil delivery.
Glad to see you are back Dauminique. That is one sweet T880 super dump you are driving now. I wish you well. Stay safe!!
I understand it’s all about legal payload and ROI, but these SD trucks make me think the engineers must all be named Bridgestone. 🤣
Same number of tires as a 4axle truck and 4 axle pup.Only the tires are smaller and less expensive,
As a European, these trucks just seem overly complicated to what we have here. And I doubt it performs good in rough offroad conditions.
@@thesillypig785 I was watching a video of a Finnish transfer truck, and I have to say they are much more efficient than the ones we have here
Good one
I'm really happy to see you back in the Seattle again I wish I can ride with you and the brand new kw
Welcome back, missed you, hope the family is well and you all had be a great new year
Thank you! You too!

Be proud of yourself because you have earned it !!!!
Welcome back! Good looking ride...except the twin chimneys are missing. Always fun figuring out a new truck. Look forward to learning with you.
Wow!!!! Women like this do exist ❤️
Haha women with jobs?
Lol I know a few women like her bub. One drives a live floor trailer for a paving outfit
Welcome back, I really enjoy you're videos.
Nice truck! Thanks for taking us along!

I already have a thing for the Western Star 49x, but darn that is a beautiful truck. Imagine the 49x with that box.

Haha yeah it is
I shared you video with my 2 daughters ….16/20 Yrs old
Both of them were impressed.
Great role model !!!
Im glad to see you back on the job. Enjoy your driving videos!!
Thank you!
Nice demonstration of the new truck! I've always wondered myself how the dropped pressure axles worked even though I don't drive or use them.
Drops are pretty straightforward, the rear tag axle is the confusing one for me. I think I’ve got it down.
Scania is better and much easier
@@sharpgamez4960 10 4 good buddy. I don’t even know what that is....I’m guessing it’s some sort of truck....that being said this truck body wasn’t built by kenworth, kenworth manufactured the truck part but everything else is manufactured by OSW. So your comment makes zero sense.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver scania is a truck really popular all over Europe. And you’re totally right each body builder makes each truck differently as far as the controls for the dump body
So nice from every angle😎....the truck as well😏

More like a smart lady, with a mighty fine ass.
Congratulations looks like an awesome truck. Pulling on that hood will give you guns and muscles
Thanks for the laughs and understanding all at the same time. Your amazing. Like the videos...keep them coming Gorgeous. All love from Minnesota. Thank you
Just remember with that booster axle your gonna have a lot of tail swing and don't back up with it down you will twist the frame up like a pretzel and you will absolutely love the air ride suspension like riding on a cloud I always deflate the bags before dumping because 1 you are more stable and 2 after you dump if there is air in the bags they will over inflate and you will get no traction plus you run the risk of blowing up a bag and that scares the crap outta you
It doesn’t seem to have much tail swing. Maybe it’s just me being used to pulling a pup all the time.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver your fine as hell
Each drop pressure should be around 35 to 40 psi. Each drop axle more than likely rated at around 10,000 lbs. you should set them at the scale so you know what they are. If you get inspected by DOT and those drops are set to high, could cost you. Should say on the tag on the door jam what the drop axles are rated for.
40 psi never ever more
This was a Very educational video. I drove a Dump truck in truck driving school but my knowledge of dump truck is very limited, but I'm learning slowly but surely as I watch your video.
That is cool that you had a dump truck in trucking driving school. I didn't have that.
Great detailed video. Best of luck with the new ride
Almost a shame to get it dirty !!! It's so beautiful !!!
Haha it’s an off-road machine!!!
I have a 1928 model AA ford handcrank dumptruck. Not as nice as yours but I like it.
Great to see you "back in saddle"! The way you have to open the hood looks really scary to me! Looks like a chance for a bad fall. Best wishes! Happy New Year!
Thats not how i normally do it. New lighter hood, thought I would try it the way the guys do it.
Good to know. Thanks!
Never drove a new truck. the newest I ever drove was a '65 848 KW off highway log truck in 1970. I have driven newer trucks, but always at least a decade old when I got them. Kind of fun watching a new truck get started up. And clean too....
😍. Good to see you back.
Hahaha, you heard me telling you to turn the pto on! That's a pretty fancy truck, my legs would be shaking the first time driving it!!
Lol it’s all good, you don’t know what you don’t know. It was a bit sketchy for sure.
Interesting set-up. I've never seen a dump truck configuration like that before, we have nothing like it here in Australia.
it's called a super 18, can haul 23 tons in Utah

Hi Neighbor...We are from Everett Washington......If you see people Sharing .Don't be Alarm...You have a beautiful truck and its fun to see a celebrity....Your husband should be Proud....Good luck in life
I hope you're making at least $25-30 /hr.Way to go for checking the fluids even though the truck is new.Great habit to have..You should really try and get your own truck.Maybe not a 200 grand brand new one but one thats a couple of years old.I don't know what the going rate is for trucks out there but here it's $80-100/hr.Since your husbands an equipment mechanic he could keep the truck in good shape.Just a thought.I've had my own business for 30 years and there's nothing like working for yourself.
We haven’t made $30 an hour in about 5 years. But yes I do make at least that. Dump trucks are very expensive. My old one that was 6 years old and had 300k miles on it is still worth $200k here. I’m sure working for yourself is great but it is nice to park the truck in the evening, go home and be a mom. I don’t want to be greasing a truck and doing paperwork all evening.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver I get that.Enjoy being a mom. When my daughter was an infant all I wanted to do was get home and hold her.Stay safe.

I’d have to trade it off when it gets to needing tires
Lol my old truck had more tires.
You know I got give you hell about them training wheels on the back

I'm wondering why kenworth didnt show you the in's and out's of the truck before you drove it away?
Kenworth didn’t build it. They just gave me the keys and sent me on my way.
I’m sure they dio

What a set of jeans best looking looking dump trucker I've ever seen
When you figure out what everything is Market with tape so you will know
Didn't lock the hood when you drove off in the beginning
I wasn’t leaving the yard, no need.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver didn't think you were just thought I would point it out lol
I was thinking the same thing about locking the hood latches. 🤣
Them Allison Transmission are awesome , mine didn't actually have a shifter , it was just push button .. it's gonna take awhile to get into a routine I'm sure .. I can tell you're excited about driving it ,and probably anxious too .. I'd be a near freak for about a month , then I'd be more comfortable getting it dirty .. Glad you're back , you always have something interesting ( I can relate to almost all you do , I drove the dump bucket for two years then went back to the eighteenth wheeler ) . Be careful, have a great week ..!!
Trucks that I have driven with air bags usually deflate when people is engaged. More stable when spreading. You will get it have and enjoy!PTO lol
You got enough wheels on there.
You’re probably right haha
Just remember that strong arm, Can get a person in trouble.
*Maxle*, strong arms suck ass! Same purpose for sure, but they’re definitely different.
@@Truckster_Metfan91 our dump truck we still have the 1988 freight liners wich bought used for $20,000 each from an air port wich they where gonna scrap it wich all it needed was a hydrulic pump for the dump boxe and coupple tires and everything was great shape so we end ed up saving them for scrap yard to get destroyed wich for $40,000 we gave them was deffently well saved
Nice truck its HUGE Congratulations young lady
You look great. I live in New Hampshire where we have tri axles. I'm over 30 years as a CDL A driver and believe me... we ALL make mistakes. Keep up the great videos. 👍
Beautiful girl with a beautiful truck 😍
For real one awesome truck , really nice ! Hmm ..... air bags ..... I think the 1st thing you're going to notice when you actually start working the truck , is going to be how much more comfortable the ride is going to be . I spent most of my 21 years on the road in trucks with straight out spring suspensions and man were they ever rough riding . I noticed in the video you have a trailer air knob for setting the brakes , can you utilize that truck to pull trailers ? And you don't come across as a "dumb ass" at all . We all started out somewhere and learned as we went . The only true dumb ass is the ones who try to fake it and don't ask questions or take the time to learn when confronted with something new and over time that generally bites the in the ass to remind them they don't know .
That rig looks like it would be fun to drive stay safe 👍
I think it's simple enough to understand. It has an acceleration pedal w a brake pedal along with some shifting the gears with some leavers and or buttons to the back. Going out on a limb here
I say sorry for this comment to the people who find offence in everything, but this is meant as a compliment. This lady looks good in jeans!!!!

Haha believe it or not they come this clean from the factory. It only had 96 miles on it when I picked it up from the dealer.

Good luck with everything!!
Also I like where you put your camera getting the different angle shots which I like .

Hope you have a fantastic Monday.
The air bags add in something special. A rancher around town borrowed his friends dump truck. He did not dump the air bags, he had some damp gravel on one side, he laid the truck on the side. Too much air on your front lift may cause lazy or late steering. I am sure that you will be excellent!
