Our house is like 100 mts away from a 50 ft wide drainage canal we used general and Hitachi but had to do welding and refilling many times in both brands. Both AC was purchased in 2011 but within 5 years we had to do welding and gas filling. Not it's completely worn out and This time we want to buy an AC which has thicker copper tubes . You never speak about the gauge of copper pipes used in the AC units which is very important to make decisions. Otherwise you are doing a great job helping a lot of people like me make an informed decision. Thanking you and expecting a speedy response ..

Service of Carrier is very very very bad!! I had been the customer of Carrier since almost 2 decades, but now I have vowed to never buy another Carrier-Midea product. The window AC is vibrating so much that it can be heard clearly in the other room (Both rooms are 14x14 feed with main bathroom separating them). Aur jab hammne company me call kiya to unhone kaha ki aapka 1 year aaj hi ho gaya hai aur ab aapko motor khud badalvani hogi. Hamne motor 7000/- ki replace karvaye aur company ne koi madad nahi ki. @@cpomfinancial2950 Sir/Madam , where majority split acs provide timer based on minutes or current clock reading mostly window acs provide it in steps of hour it's not hifi feature but don't know why manufacturers hesitate to include it in window acs .
@@rahulpathak2980 it is because in split AC, all the technical configuration is done in IDU whereas in window AC, they have everything in one box so it is very hard to put all the technology in place because there are high chances of getting PCB malfunction during the service of AC. My friend I always recommend to have smart switch for window AC but it will only work for those AC which have auto restart functionality. It actually saves lots of money and a 3 star AC gives saving equivalent to 5 star AC

To monitor energy characteristics smart socket is best , don't get me wrong the pcb in indoor unit of split AC is big because it need inverter to control bldc blower motor but in window ac generally it's blower motor is normal 1 phase motor apart from that controller circuit is not that big which can't be accomodated within window ac , don't know why companies hesitate to include proper timer functionality in window ac , anyway majority of the times people use AC at night in that sense hour based timer is not totally useless and for direct sunlight exposure / semi commercial arenas timers are irrelevant.

@@crczrIn the copper tubes. Thinner copper wires get corroded easily so making holes which leakes gas out. Hence welding and refilling gas.
