Got mine in December. I have an extremely small board and this FS expansion has made having the HX stomp as the core of my board so much more manageable. I use mine for Preset changes keeping the primary 3 switches for snapshot changes.
i feel sorry for the pedalnetics guy. he's a one man shop and he's about to get smashed with orders. my order included! LOL!!!
Luckily I've gotten into a pretty good groove of doing batch builds assembly-line style, and just added 3 more printers earlier this week as they became the speed bottleneck now 😁

I've been trying to downsize to just a stomp, tuner and my Noble. I still prefer some pedals over what the HX does. I like my Cali76 comp better than the stomps compressor. I'll pull my Darkglass Alpha Omega off once I find a distortion I like as much as that one. It is pretty stunning what they're capable of.
Been using mine daily for almost two years now, It's a great space saver.
I'm super hard on gear so I'm quite surprised, yet very happy its never given me any trouble 😊

That’s a great add-on for the HX Stomp. I saw that switch on Ian Martin Allison’s Stomp, as well. I already have a Disaster Area DMC micro, but if I didn’t, I would order the Pedalnetics switch today. I see that Pedalnetics builds a one button switch for scrolling through Source Audio presets that looks very intriguing.
hey buddy, hope all is well. I have been following your growth for many years and have been inspired by your musical talent. You have been blessed and have put in the hard hours to polish your craft. It's a delight to see your musical evolution. I have been playing for 6-7 years and have versatility to play in most settings; I play in church now and love jazz/funk/blues. If you had only 2 pedals that you could use to enhance your voice and enhance the sound, what would you recommend for someone as staples to play in church, smaller places etc.

What a great item!! Im currently using the disaster area micro which covers this and more. Maybe i need this for the next board i want to build. Something relatively compact like what you have going on there. Been using and very much enjoy flat boards for years, but i think i want a vertex for the next build. Thanks for the video

The HoTone FS-1 Ampero Switch does the same and it's only 19 Euros! This Helauxy Duo Mini is almost 60 Euro!
Except you're comparing two very different devices... One is a device mounted on the pedal taking up no additional space with custom color and lettering options. The other is a Chinese made two button TRS switcher that has to sit somewhere on the floor of the pedalboard.
You also have to look at a multitude of things before you get to the price. Simply looking at a price and a use-case is not enough.
Let's be very clear that I cannot talk to the quality of Hotone's products as today was the first time I even knew about the existence of the company. So needless to say I've never tried their products.
They are manufactured in China, whereas Pedalnetics is made 100% in the US as far as I'm aware. Made in the US vs Made in China isn't always a 100% win for the US, but in my experience with musical products it can often mean inferior quality control on Chinese made items.
The price also tells me something about the product. When you look at their site, they almost exclusively make knock-off versions of all the units we know and love like the HX Stomp, and the Eventide H9 etc... all at a vastly cheaper price point. Being able to make it for such a low price tells me that the level of R&D necessary to produce a professional grade unit simply wasn't invested in.
When you look through their artist page there was literally one person I'd heard of. Another sign of a young company with little market power.
Could that be for a reason? or is it simply that they're just getting going?
I turn down requests literally weekly from new Chinese companies like this. They all try to be aggressive with their marketing and product launches, and are looking to get any kind of clip or photo of a known player with their products.
If I only ever looked at the price of the product, I wouldn't be able to move in my house because it would be full of copies of high end gear that fell very short of the original.
All this to say, you're not wrong about the price, and whatever works for you is the best thing for you. I just feel it's important to share the experience I've had when it comes to making decisions on buying gear, and although price might seem like the biggest issue when you first approach something, it'll likely not remain the #1 issue for very long.

Once he picked it up it was no longer in my possession.

Once I had seen the device, I then ordered one for myself. Paid full price. Have never once spoken to the owner of the company about sponsorship.
That is all very clearly laid out in the video. If you didn’t understand, you should be asking questions and not making misleading statements on a subject you obviously know nothing about.

The point of returning to straighten out the facts when you write total rubbish, is because other people see this. I’ve had the Pedalnetics duo for my HX Stomp for awhile it’s amazing. With a TRS cable you also add an expression pedal, those it does mean you loose 1 of the switches. You just need some Ninja Engineering magnet knobs for the 3 main foot switches
Aww man, just bought the JG Bass Solo presets before the new bundle arrived. Is the chain in that preset the same as the new one besides the added switches? Great little add-on switch btw!

I love the Helauxy stuff, and Pedalnetics, but I snagged a similar item from Seafoam Pedals that's a tiny pressable knob, offset on an itty bitty enclosure so you can roll it with your foot easily. If you're into the Stomp you can already see the value in such a tiny device. I bought a JET Micro before Pedalnetics was on my radar so I already had switch ability, but a tiny expression roller combo switch is SUCH FIRE
I'll point out that Pedalnetics can also build this type of device, as I've reached out and asked :)

I’ve been using the BOSS FS-6 for the same purpose, but this is considerably less footprint!

Not a bad idea, but since my “digital board” already is a stomp with midi controller and expression pedal (with option for another exp pedal…) hooked into the stomp, I don’t really need it. Looks like a compact smart option though.
(I usually use presets per song and snapshots for different song sections.)
Hi Janek can I get your Big Boi and Oh Shit presets by themselves I’ve already purchased and downloaded your others. Harmony 2 (with Kinky Boost & Cosmos Echo engaged) with my old Verbzilla has become my go to soloing sound.
Are those updates to the JG Bass Solo preset going to be reflected on your website listing, or the listing now has the outdated preset?

Im looking to buy a HX Effects. Im using right now a cheap Zoom B3N for modulations, but HX its far superior. Im a pich shift lover too and Zoom sucks at that. I dont need amp sim, but the Stomp model its so small and fits in any bag or board. Maybe I Will get this one
For anyone on a budget, the Hotone switch is like…20 bucks? And very well made. Can’t put on the stomp though!
The main downside for me on the Ampero switch is they use PCB-mounted tactile buttons, so they emit a clicking sound when you use it. If you don't mind the height difference, RockStock, SimpleSwitch, and Analog Endeavors, all make great budget 2 button switches that are quieter and about the same cost!
Hey Janek, what's your opinion on the Eventide H90? Do you have any experience with it? I wonder how it performs compared to the HX Stomp.
I haven't tried it yet, but I believe it still only allows you to use two effects at once. Just like having two H9's on the board. The stomp has 8 simultaneous options...
