When my own son was in first grade, he was selected for reading support services. This great reading technique has assisted a lot in bettering the reading abilities of my young man although he`s just on grade level and also his development certainly blown away his reading coach. I wish the trainer had made use of this program at school. Get this guide on KidslearnReading4.blogspot.com
I recently discovered that my kids (4 & 6) love dominoes.
I taught them how to play (match the numbers/colors and I only help them count, giving them their points when they score by multiples of 5). They've been surprisingly good at playing the correct dominoes in the correct places to score and actually beat me by a lot!
So now I keep a set of dominoes in our home classroom so that we can play, count and learn.
A beautiful mom with strong soul. I admire you so much and thanks so much for sharing all the information❤ We all wish the best for our children, but how many peopel will try so hard like you? I've learnt a lot.
Thank you so much for such a sweet comment. I'm so happy you have found my channel to be motivational.
Not sure how I stumbled across your channel but I am very happy I did. We have a 3,2 & 11 yr old and I am dipping my toes in the homeschool journey and i needed a mom like you to connect with and learn from. Thank you for sharing 💖
That is seriously the sweetest comment! I appreciate that so much. I love connecting with other moms with similar interests too!

I'm glad you've found them useful! I hope you feel more prepared.
I'm in the same boat my girls are 3 yr old twins and don't know where to start. I've only gotten white boards and some basic books
3 years old is great age to learn colors, letters, counting fingers,
Take a walk and stop at a stop sign to look point to letters.
U dont have to school at home!
U can recognize letters at the park. Looking at signs, u can do coloring sheets. Counting trees on a walk, flowers anything.
Homeschool doesn't always have to be at home.
Read to your kids everyday.

Bridgeway academy has a free program. I use it to give me ideas that dont focus on abc 123. Gives ideas for a more diverse lesson plans.
I love you, girl!! You have the best ideas and suggestions!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for making this so simple and easy. I started my son's homeschool and it wasn't easy for me to teach him. I learn patience :) and I feel extremely happy after seeing my son improving and it makes me wanting to teach him more :)
By the way I like the sound of your laugh :)
Thank you for this video! So many great tips I can't wait to apply with my toddler's homeschooling ❤
I'm so happy that you have found them useful! Let me know how it goes!
Thanks for sharing this much needed video. I will be homeschooling our grands this year. I love this information and I am very excited to teach them!!! ❤
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much!! I'm gonna be trying the virtual kindergarten for my oldest. It's his first time and I'm kind of nervous. My husband and I turned the room into a classroom. And the stuff you showed I'm gonna get
Haha, we have the same laminator! I just started all this for my 2 year old this year. Thank you so much, your videos give me so much direction.
You are so welcome! I'm so glad to hear!
If you go with a laser printer, it costs more upfront but if you do more than a couple hundred pages a year you end up saving money with the ink (especially if you look for a good Black Friday deal or something on the printer.
I was initially hesitant when I got rid of a perfectly good printer in order to go with a laser printer, but I did the math and figured I'd end up saving money. And lo and behold in a year I recouped my costs and now I'm saving money. And if you print more often than I do, Well, then you'll save even more money and recoup your costs even faster. plus the printing quality went up slightly which was a nice bonus.
Also, tip for making your laminator last longer. Occasionally get a piece of plain white cardstock that you are not laminating and run it through (it kind of helps clean it and reduces the burning smell (
My laminator is my bestfriend! 😂 I love it so much! Toddlers tend to ruin papers most of the time and laminating printed activities saved me from it!
Instant Ink is the best find for me!!
Thank you fo sharing the essentials and the links to the items!!
you're so welcome! I would have benefited from something this detailed when I was first starting out. So I thought other moms would too!
Flashcards. My two year old LOVES school because of those
Very helpful thank you. You will do well!! I have homeschooled my first 3 for like 6-7 years then I went back to work. My last 3 younger kids where in private school but because of this virus I will homeschool them this year. They are 13, 10, and 4. 8th, 5th and a pre-k4. I also have two home from college and one senior. This year will be crazy!! It’s a joy to see others homeschooling too.

This is so helpful 😊 my husband and i are contemplating homeschooling our toddler, and im scared because i don’t know where to start lol. I just came across your channel and am loving it 😊
Thanks for this video. My daughter just turned two on the 17th and I've set up a little homeschool area for her where we do 40 minutes a day. We've just started so I need all the tips!
That is awesome! yeah you really don't have to spend a lot of time to get them to retain information. keep it up!
Thank you.. you talked me into a laminator, I forget we can reuse for the next kid!!
YES! I am reusing so much for my younger one now.
Love the interactive calendar! 👏🏽
Me too!
I homeschool my 10 yr old, my 9 yr old and my 5 yr old (Layla as well). It’s the BEST decision that I’ve ever made. My oldest now excel in reading and writing. My 10 yr old reads high school level books. My 9 yr old isn’t quite that advanced, but is at a much higher reading level that her grade. They are both behind in math though. I did not realize this until I pulled them from public school. We are working hard to get caught up. We are going to do a year round school schedule. We also utilize many of the items that you listed. It’s awesome that you are sharing these tips for parents new to homeschooling. 👍🏻
That's awesome! My girl is only 4 but I really want to homeschool. I'm super nervous but I definitely want to take on the challenge because I want her to be better than me then what I was in public school.
Thank you for your help!! I have a 3 year old and I didn't know where to start.
You are so welcome!
Wow I loved your essentials💞i loved how relatable you are💖
Thank you so much!! You're so sweet!
your essentials was a great help to me...thanks for sharing
Dollar tree has some of the stuff you have but cheaper!! They also have flashcards with elmo and a bunch of disney characters too!!
We love dot markers! We use them all the time! I finally got a dry erase board and it’s been a game changer!
The dry erase board is SUCH a game changer. Glad you think so too!
Thanks so much for sharing, this was awesome!
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing very helpful tips
Thank u for links about your preschool things
No problem. Glad you have found them useful!
This is so helpful! My daughter is soon to be 2 so we’re probably going to get started on a very light homeschooling regime this next school year. Thank you and I’m grateful to have someone on this CZcams space that is in the young kids phase to bounce ideas off of!
Why do 2 year Olds need to do school? Is it because of pressure or trying to prove your kid is like the others who go to preschool? Not trying to be mean. They are little for a few years. Kids don't need years of preschool before kindergarten. Yes, teach her. Don't make her do " school " at age 2. She only has a few years before she needs to be doing schoolwork. Even with homeschooling.....2 is way too early.
Love this!
Just found your channel a super excited! Thank you for your tips!! Anticipating the lesson planning videos :)
Thank you for the support! It is in the process of being edited. Hopefully up in a couple days!
Brittany Lynn yay thank you so timely. Hope my babies will be as smart and clever as your cuties one day!
All littles learn and grow at different paces! They’re sponges when they’re young. Focus on their needs and they’ll be great! 🤗♥️
I am so happy I found your channel! Planning on home schooling my 4yo this school year. ❤️😊 Subscribed!
Thats wonderful! I wish you the best.
Brittany Lynn Thanks so much! ❤️
Hi jessica can you tell me your opinion on these 2 books? www.amazon.com/dp/B08DC63X86
www.amazon.com/dp/B08JF5FZH6
Thank you
I have been homeschooling for 3 years and I have almost all of these things. I don't have a laminator but I do put things in page protectors and use dry erase markers on them to do something similar. I'd like to get a laminator at some point though. I don't have a classroom so I don't have a white board on the wall but I do have a small dry erase board that I get out and write on all the time.
it sounds like you're doing an amazing job!
Yes!!! We use Hp instant ink and it's 6 bucks a month but they send you ink as you run low and the cartridges last FOREVER!
you are awesome amd I'm seriously amazed by the way you taught your daugther reading....you deserve more subscribers....wish u luck dear.....and thanks a ton for sharing.....
That is so nice of you to say! Thank you so much! If my children are willing to accept information, I will always provide it. Thank you for watching and the support!
your ideas are so great! I really hope to find all this stuff in austria too
Thank you for watching! I hope you can find it!
My kids love the dot markers as well. :) One thing we have on hand are busy bins filled with activities to keep my 2 year old busy while I work with my almost 4 year old. :)
I LOVE that idea. I need to do something like that for my younger daughter too!
I need ideas for this! My little guy is sooo busy!
@@nicolecoppenger9208 I made a video showing what we keep in ours if you're looking for ideas!
My LO is 2year old.. Your videos are helpful.. Love to watch ❤
Instaprint for ink!! Must have for homeschool!
So helpful,u r a very good mom as well as teacher
Thank you!!
It's so informative .. Totally love it.. Keep it up. As a preschool teacher myself , your videos are quite helpful to me. 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot 😊
This is very helpful. Thanks 😊
You're welcome 😊
Artist tip, you can also you Crayola washable markers as a "wet erase" marker on laminate material. I also end of using a wet cloth to clean up those dry erase markers, but a regular washable marker is cheaper and works well.
Love your video. I would like to see how you have everything organized. Thanks
Coming soon! I will have a new school room, organization/tour video up in the next couple of days.
I spent months looking for a printer and ended up getting a Epson Ecotank 3600. I love it, you can buy the ink refill super cheap on eBay and just pop the side open and pour the ink in. I actually run out of printing paper before I run out of ink. I've had the printer for years!
Kimbelyn Hilgenfeld no way! I’ll have to look into that! Whenever this one dies I’m sure I’ll need something more efficient lol. Thank you!
Much needed video for me coz I was browsing 4 printer and laminatior and just saw ur video...thnx for sharing👍🤩
Venkatesh Naidu I’m glad it was useful! Thanks for watching 🤗
Pro tip for printers: Get an Epson Eco-Tank!!! You won't regret this. We print dozens of pages a day, we've had the printer almost 2 years and we've only ever had to replace the ink...once. Once!! We were changing it every month when we had an HP!!
I use self laminating sheets.
thank you so much, you are amazing! love your videos.
Thanks for watching!
New subscriber!!! Loving your videos 🤣💕🙌🏼
Thank you for subscribing!!!
This is so helpful. We are going to be doing a little homeschooling this year for our sons preschool year.
That is great! You've got this.
julietta You too!

I am a new subscriber, Love your videos . Thank you for sharing !!!
Thanks for subscribing and watching!!
We use a subscription ink service from HP. It is wonderful
Cherline XO that’s great to know!! Thank you!
Thanks a lot
I haven't even watched this video yet.. opening ads are still playing.. but THANK YOU!! I bet you're glad you made this video a year ago!
Hope you enjoyed it! I am very glad I made this video. So many new homeschooling families are looking for info like this.
Im starting home schooling with my grand children. Thanks for the info
You are so welcome! That is wonderful.
Me too! I’m excited and blessed that I can take care of my grand babies! Cheers to our new phase of life!
I had to stop the video at a little past 1 minute in to say thank you for saying if you notice that your child is learning and growing that you’re doing it right! I haven’t started official homeschool but we are doing tot school and she’s almost can count to 15 and knows maybe about 15 letters now and even though I’ve taught her that much I’ve felt like I still wasn’t good at homeschooling and doing it wrong but she is learning! So I’m doing something right im still scared and nervous for future grade levels cuz the school that I went to wasn’t really good at teaching and so I have to teach myself as I teach her😨
You are so pretty!
“Oh yeah, ink!” Hahaaa yes!
I love my laminator! 🤗
You're so kind! lol yessss can't forget that ink!
I heard on someone’s channel that...I want to say Walmart, has an ink refill place. You bring your cartridges there and they fill them for pretty cheap
katienkify no way! I will have to check that out!
Thanks for these kind of valuable information for us
I am from India
Thank you for watching!
Your video is awesome! Gave me a few new ideas. Love the containers for organizing. I was using ziplocks. Lol.
Glad it was helpful!
Good job very informative. One thing I may want to caution you on in terms of those puzzle cards from target. If you look at some of those puzzle pieces to put together the pieces are the same for each card or each puzzle so there isn’t necessarily a guarantee that I the child is actually understanding how they come together so because the shape is all the same for letter a and letter l, a kid might pick a and then put the picture piece for L connected to it ...those are the only things that I had issues with those puzzles and ended up returning them all because they were all like that ...they might be different now but just FYI make sure you double check that
Very good point! I have noticed the same thing. However, I am always with my child helping them to make sure they realize if they have gotten a correct match or not. But, I agree they are not the best quality puzzle.
Amei muito bom 👏
I don't even homeschool and I love my laminator lol!
Amanda Alexander hahaha I believe it!
I don't have kids yet. But when I do I'm thinking of homeschooling. N yur setup is what I had in mind.
That's so exciting! It's a lot of fun to set stuff up.
thanks for sharing 🌷
Thank you for watching!
You have great resources for homeschooling. I need to buy a Laminator.
They are so amazing.
I'm glad they are.
Right when you said Samara I was like wait my daughters name is Samara lol 😂 not too many people have this name it’s so beautiful!
Brittany, I love your videos! Would you mind if I link some of your videos through my blog sometime? 💕 We homeschool as well but I just started our blogging journey so we don't do videos yet and I'd love to have people learn your strategies and tools. Ty so much in advance. You're doing great!
Just a little tip, instead of using the small dry erase markers for the worksheets, use permanent marker. You can even get the really fine tip permanent marker for easier writing 😊 the permanent marker keeps it from smearing and making a mess like a dry erase does. Then, when done, use a dry erase markers over it, wipe it off, and voila, permanent marker is now gone 😊
ARKdrummer no way! I’ve never heard of that before! I’ll definitely be trying this out. Thanks for the tip! ♥️
@@BrittanyLynnHomeschool no problem! I was amazed when I first learned about it. Works so much better, especially if you're trying to have your child do copy work. The dry erase markers are never quite fine enough.
Play-Doh activity also works with cookie cutters I have two girls and they have autism and they like playing with the Play-Doh activities
I love your videos! Can you tell me where you get your letter sticker on the wall from? I am looking for a black simple letter. Thanks so much !
#1 clear sheets
And put your work in between and reuse them and switch them out.
You are GORGEOUS
Thank you! You’re so sweet 🤗
Hi Brittany! I would love to hear you share your experience about being homeschooled. Or if you could send a link with a video that already talks about that. Not everyone in my family is in agreement with me homeschooling but I would love to hear your experience especially since you said you did it all the way until you got to college. That would mean a lot. My husband and I have already agreed to homeschool our daughter who is 1 and 1/2 yrs old.
Hi Steph! Thank you for your suggestion. I would love to make a video about my experience being homeschooled. I haven't done anything like that before. I will try to get one up soon, so stay tuned. Also, I hope your family comes around to the idea. Is there anything in particular holding them back from being all in?
I want to see more vedio for preschool plz continue 😊
my oldest is starting kindergarten level work this year, but I will continue videos with her as well as my youngest who will be doing tot school.
@@BrittanyLynnHomeschool OK
I’ve just found your channel. I am not a home school mum but with corona virus I’m unlikely to send my children back to school until September (I am in the UK). I decided I can’t just have ‘play days’ until then so I have decided to set a little school up - mine are 14, 4,2 and 1. This has been so helpful x
I'm so happy to hear that you're finding my videos useful!
Hi im new here... from philippines...
i love your videos.. super enjoyed.. specially for toddlers... because i have 4boys twin boys 2 yrs old and 1yr old baby boy and the eldest is 13yrs old already... and i love your videos. Anyway can u share your Toddler Learning Binder... i want to create a learning toddler binder but i have no printer and laminator... i hope i will have it soon... Godbless more videos for toddlers and preschool
hi! thank you for the support! I hope you get a printer and laminator soon! They are so helpful. I will be making a video about the binder soon. Good luck to you!
I m planning to have home school for my 14 month old daughter . I m glad I found ur channel. Do u have any initial suggestions for me plz?
That's great! I'm glad you have your plans already decided. I would just say, don't have too many expectations in the beginning. Be flexible and able to adapt to the style of learning that your child thrives with most.
You can get the laminater at Walmart for $10 and the sheets for $5.
That’s great to know! Thanks for sharing the deal 🤗
Do you like the laminator and is it pretty straight forward to use? Have never used one 🙈 thanks!
@@BrittanyLynnHomeschool your very welcome. Glad to help.
@@joshclark1708 Josh are you asking me or Brittany?.
Do you have a curriculum that you follow? I have no idea were to start? Like no idea. I hv a 3 year old that I plan to homeschool.

Literally paused the video to hit add to cart at least 20 times lol
Hahaha right? When I was first starting out I looked for videos like this all the time.
Brittany Lynn it’s very helpful, thank you!
I tried to print on regular paper printer but it came out not clear, what kind of paper printer do you use ?please replay soon
I am not American or Canadian, so homeschooling is something new to us from Europe. Not, that I have not heard of one. I am just curious do mom's who do homeschooling follow some online curriculum or they choose and pick up ideas from the internet? I mean is there some government approved curriculum that is made by teacher's, psychologists, pedagogs, and educators to follow? Something with credentials especially developed for toddlers of age 2 and 3? I also work at home with my two years old, but it's usually inspiration from internet, sorting, coloring, reading, animals, shapes. I would like to know if there's something else besides for example the Montessori method, maybe I could give check out and see what would a specialist be working with such a young child.
