We’ve tested over 40 level 6 sets against all levels of the toughest raid boss, Magmarion!!
Now, the 10 finalists, along with 5 wild cards will compete against LEVEL 6 Magmarion, to determine the first annual Magmarion Tournament Champion!!

Magmarion Tournament Rules:
Only 1st Round counts - Other player performance during a raid battle, has a significant impact on the total damage score that is possible at the end of the raid battle. If the other players have stronger sets and/or better skills, less damage will be possible. Conversely, if the other players have weaker sets and/or weaker skills, then more damage is possible. To control for the variable of other player performance, only ROUND 1 damage will be scored. In other words, the set that does most damage to Magmarion, in round 1, wins. We will not be looking at other rounds. After all, this is a tournament of sets vs sets, not me vs other players. Hope that makes sense!
Mulligan: There are a lot of sets to test, and Raids battles take up to 8 minutes each. So, each sets gets just one attempt at getting the highest score in round 1. If poor gameplay on my part results in a set being in the bottom five, I’ll go back and try again with that set. I would love to go back and redo all these over and over until I was satisfied with my performance and score. However, if I do that, I’ll never get around to completing and publishing these videos. So, only those at risk of elimination, get a mulligan.
Wild Card: in the event that one of you shows me a way to significantly increase damage score with an eliminated set, and provided I am able to duplicate the suggestion, then that set will have a chance to come back as a Wild Card entry in Round 6. So, if you r favorite set gets eliminated, try and beat my score. Perhaps your favorite set will get a 2nd chance as a Wildcard :-)

Don't use synchronisation with dote if you don't use it the crit timing will be match with impulse resonator and damage will be huge use time bomb instead of synchorization

There are a few sets I wanted to talk about:
Liberator: There's no point in being immortal and having many skills, and not being powerful (I'm sorry for those who like this set, but for this tournament...)
Monkey: This one went
VERY FAR in the tournament
KOS: One that has barely arrived and is already causing destruction

@@ilikeappleandbananas In fact, the abdicator also works in almost the same way as well.
The liberator really suffer in the fight with magmarion basically because the blaster cannot freeze him so that we can score a crit hit that deal a shit ton of dmg. And Magmarion just has that annoying unbreakable ability and the fire current that disturb Liberator combo. A full sequence of combo can maybe take away 3 to 4 stacks of magmarion health bar which is not bad at all
@@khangphuc2962 Some sets are powerful but not against Magmarion. Another example is HOM.

King of The Legion set really needs a buff. Apart from having unique poses when starting the match, winning, after one round etc... this set has lore from KOTL of course. It would be awesome for Nekki to buff his abilities or add new ones. If I'm not wrong, KOTL was the first unique legendary set to have these poses and game changing abilities back then. With time, SF3 released almost each time a better set than the one from before.
I still use the set, with healing abilities and with the caveman rage special move, deals lots of damage. KOTL really should get a buff to match his actual powers.
When you play with liberator is like gambling because you don't know what shard will be(like if it is bloom is great at damage)

You can get upto 10k damage with kotl set with proper Perks and focus on shadow energy gain instead of soul I give you guaranteed that you will get 7k+ damage per round 😊

Second with cold revenge Perk you almost be in permanent shadow form keep using sorrowful shiver to get shadow energy with cold revenge Perk
Keep all shadow damage increasing Perk and keep using shadow moves within 2-3 rounds you will able to get 7k damage
Anibot is still the go set for 'an okay fighter'

KOS can deal more damage if you get full energy bar faster, it can do Royal Lotus 2 times
Wow! Royal Lotus 2x would be crazy damage. I struggle to just get one. What's your trick? Are there better perks or a different strategy?
@@ashadowdojo You should use Toxic Rain then use Intoxication.After that, move closer to Magmarion and attack him with special move "harsh wind".Do that until you get 25%energy bar then use the down shadow move you will gain so many energy bar and continue attack him.
I think your perks is Ok
COTP 🔥🔥🔥 you can get the best results when you equip Lifesteal, field medicine, price of victory, berserk and shadow burn. High damage value without the need to use ammunition
These are the perks I had in this video: Rock, Field Medicine; Price of Victory, Spiked Armor, Revenge; Shadow storm, Lifesteal & Shadow Berserk. What would you change?
@@ashadowdojo I would replace shadow storm and revenge. Instead I'd use Lifesteal and Berserk. For the COTP set specifically.
Nice Video man, I appreciate the effort, but if possible, you can do the Liberator set better, Look its my personal opinion, because if you have the perks like time bomb equipped on it, it would be better, but that was also a nice startegy.

About Kotl, it's all about RNG if you get many souls, so you get high damage and vice versa

King of serpents would do significantly more damage if you used toxic rain properly to stick more bites
How should I use it differently? I've tried both as the 1st and the 2nd move. There didn't seem to be much difference. What am i missing?

@ashadowdojo I think that sometimes it can disappoint anibot but sometimes it can surprise along the way if you used the old special move and spam on it you might have caused more damage but still great video as expected colossus Can against underground wrath boss

HOM got eliminated I think in round 3 or 4. Major disadvantage against Magmarion losing the sword.
You need green energy on Liberator to maximize the damage.
I know I'm missing something with Liberator because the damage should be higher. Also, "chance" may have a lot to do with the inconsistency of scores with the set. I had some higher numbers in later rounds, but only round 1 scores counted for the tournament. But still, I don't think I got above 5k and I think the potential is there for much more.
for liberator maybe try getting more bloom crystal on him for BIIG damage
I tried to not use Catharsis Triptych until the end, so there was max crystals on Magmarion, before firing off the three shots. But, I still wasn't able to do the damage I expected. Both time and luck are factors with Liberator. Time to apply as many crystals as possible and let them take, and luck that you apply the most high damage crystals.

Thank you thank you thank you! Much appreciated. As for Himmelstein, I'm not sure. It's not a fun boss for me. I'm not into the puzzles. Also, there's one set that just completely dominates Himmelstein. It's Hand of Magmarion. I've gotten over 80k damage against Level 4 Himmelstein with HOM. None of the other sets even come close! Maybe I'll post some of those over on Discord, with minimal editing.

I like Shadow Blades, Shadow Berzerk, Shadow Storm & Price of Victory to increase shadow damage & shadow nourishment and Lifesteal to replenish health.
Shadow dojo, try against the himmelstein.
I am sure that star chaser level 6 kills him in one round you just need skill.

I did too, but I'm only recording the first round. With many of these sets, I had better scores in later rounds, but to keep things consistent I only used round 1 scores.

When Magmarion is in that mode, and you strike him, he keeps sending the fire wall. Against most sets, this is an effective and annoying Magmarion weapon. However, against Dynasty Heritage, he gets stuck :-D

about liberator, first i recomend do helm shadow atack, so Magmarion is guaranteed to fall at the beginning of the round, then you can make a dash
