correction: The Disney castles look like the German ones
Kirsten is just so real, I love her, down to earth and just chill. Awesome.
"I know a little German.......he's sitting right over there."
She is a beauty
Auser Schimpfwörter kann die eig nix XD
The castle of Neuschwanstein actualy is the roll model for Cinderella Castle at Disneyland. It was already a fairytale castle when it was build not fitting into it's time.
***** You're right, I mixed them up. But if you 're honest it's almost the same. Neuschwanstein actually is a rolemoddel for almost every fairytale castle.
I love that castle and am crazy about Ludwig---I HAVE to get their someday. He bailed out Wagner, by the way.
windstorm1000 You defnitley should see it. But don't miss to visit Linderhof castle as well with it's beautiful garden. Ludwig actualy had his own opera cave there to watch Wagner Operas.
um, anyone else notice the huge moon in the background about to collide with the earth, wiping out everything we've ever known?
"Those people are powerful" I almost died laughing.
Jeeze, people. Everyone has an accent! If you did not learn a language in early childhood, you WILL have an accent. The goal is to be intelligible. I have never, ever met a German who didn't have an accent when speaking English. Some are just thicker than others.
I am German and i am really impressed by her flawless pronunciation of "Ja, ein kleines Bischen Deutsch..." ("Yes, a little bit of german...") at 2:31 .
sweet girl..gives both men a lil kiss on greeting.
How the English squeaky voice is changing when she is talking German. oO

I'm german. She sounds very good in german
kirsten dunst exposes disney's sexual innuendos in this video (around 4:44), no wonder shes not really making any movies now, you cant go against the illuminati and expect a successful career!
+C3PO's Bottom Bit HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAH...oh man, good joke
+C3PO's Bottom Bit You're an idiot and kirsten dunst is an idiot. It says "SFX" not "sex"
+C3PO's Bottom Bit Yeah, right, Disney is owned by the Illumanti, and Frozen is an entertainment vehicle to indoctrinate the young with their Atavistic patriarchal ideology... only it's not.
winehousedrunk Never put words in My mouth for as long as you have life on this earth. I never said Disney is owned be the illuminated ones. NEVER.
Neunschweinstein ?! Has she ever been to Germany?!
WHAT ZE FUCK?! WE DON'T ALWAYS YELL!
As a matter of fact, hardly anyone in Germany yells, ever. Except for at soccer matches maybe. Naziism was 70 years ago - when America was a civilized country. Now, Germany is a (mostly) civilized country, while one of America's only two relevant parties think the next U.S. President should be a Fascist.
+taxiuniversum ehm 1945 america was not nearly as civilized as today. Segregation, ant-socialism and stuff...
taxiuniversum Wait, so you call Germans getting raped and killed by third world people (mostly Muslims of course) civilized? I think Germans and other European countries should fight back already. America is just as dumb, unfortunately. I'm one of the few Americans that realize what's going on. They want to convert everyone to Islam, but that's okay, right?
She pronounces really good. nearly free of an accent. wonder if shes been raised speaking two languages.
Little correction for the title:
"kirsten dunst speaks angry"
Just like the american visiting windsor castle in the UK: "Oh, nice. I just wonder why they built it so close to the highway" :)
or one american in Rome commenting: "so brilliant idea, building the colosseum close to the underground!" (sad but true story)
She's awesome. She has a very clear pronunciation when she speaks German. I love that. :D
Irgentwie wenn Amerikaner versuchen deutsch zu sprechen klingt es wie hitler ....:'D
Actually, I learned the word at the age of three from our German maid. My dad was an army provost marshall stationed in Garmisch. my parents thought it was very cute that I was learning to speak German until friends clued them in on what I was saying. I suspect that word probably was used by folks born in1920s and 30s but has simply fallen out of use. I was 3 in 1957 and learned the word from a fifty year old woman
She actually have the german facial features, german people must be proud of having her
she is freaking gorgeous
NeuSCHWEINstein?
:-))
Christopher Kealy
I know that. I am a German.
It is really a beautiful castle.
She means Neuschwanstein, but pronounces / speaks it out like NeuSCHWEINstein.
:)
Dunst: "All the German castles look a little Disney like." Disney took Neuschwanstein as an example for their castles, not the other way around! Dunst acts as the American tourist who says: In the States we have the same, but larger and better. European castle architects should visit Disney theme parks in the States, to learn how to design castles. Acting as Geman, Kirsten Dunst looks fake, yes a little Disney like.
You can't compare a designed castle and a real castle, it's not the same work at all.
Up Here She says that European should visit a disney castle to learn how to design castle. She assumes that disney castles are "the best" and it's just really funny.
Up Here "European castle architects should visit Disney theme parks in the States, to learn how to design castles."
She was born in the USA so you get the US citizenship and her Dad is 100 % German so she has the right to get this citizenship aswell. BTW. Her mother is 100 % Swedish so she could also get this citizenship if she wanted to.
I can talk for myself, but in my opinion its easier to learn english than to learn german. I'm German and I like english almost more than my mother tongue
+creamC19
english is definitely easier than german. ;)
Many americans already give up when the 3 german articles come up^^
I love Conan's fake-German!
+Georg Steinhauser what does it...nearly means? does it make remote sense of anything? or just the sounding?
I love kirsten since interview with the vampire :D
Sein Fake-Deutsch ist voll gut o.O
It's Neu-SCHWAN-stein literally meaning The New-SWAN-rock.
However, it's a pain to try and teach someone that. When my cousin came to visit, she wanted to see that castle so we did, and as soon as she asked about the name I was like: Here we go) So I said: repeat after me:
- Neu.
- Neu.
(so far so good)
- Schwan.
(and here I've noticed that our little German Culture 101 attracted attention of the locals, and they were expecting exactly the same as I was, so she goes SCHWEIN
which made me cringe!) then I went on to explaining to her SCHWEIN means PIG / SWINE in German whereas SCHWAN is a swan. This whole thing reminds me of Snatch:
- Frankie as Mutti: It was an easy mistake to make, since there was a subtle difference in the spelling (c)
02:31 Start.
I will never watch Kristen Dunst and not think in Mary Jane...
It actually says SFX as a nod to the sound crew
I love her!
her pronunciation is quite good but you can't translate Shithead word by word ... Nobody says "Scheißkopf" in Germany
She's hot !
4:39 She talks about "Miniatur-Wunderland" here in the Port of Hamburg (if you take the Subway in Hamburg, it is near the stop "Baumwall"). It is an indoor exhibition in open almost every day. where you can find famous places, cities, railroads... everything is made up in 1 to whatever scale. Really great and made up very realistic. Greetings from Hamburg.
I think as a parent you should never forget what you are and where you are from and give to your children your history, origin, culture and language...
Hahaha he loves German
Neuschweinstein? WTF!?????
Dunst is crazzzzy!!!!
whaaaat she was in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind my fav movie and i only just realised i wouldn't have known without that intro lol
why do you think german speaks so aggressiv. if you scream in other languages its sounds the same. man we are a new generation, generation of love. you should better come to the country before you make condemnation....
Love it when Americans talk German
Her german is pretty good!
+Constantin F. "NeuSCHWEINstein" really?! :-D - this translates "New PIG Stone"; but it really is NeuSCHWANstein ("New Swan Stone"). But I have to admit, her german is not bad at all ;-) - besides the fact that she's pissing people off by calling them names :-D
+Constantin F. No, it is not. Nobody says "Scheisskopf," although it is lexically and grammatically correct. Also, the pronuntiation of Neuschwanstein was terrible. Although to be fair, she actually said that she speaks a little, not fluently.
ah miniature wonderland in Hamburg is such an amazing place!!
claims she speaks German. Murders the name of the most famous German castle, Neuschwanstein.
+DnK Yes. But she sounds like she's adding an N after the "Neu". Like "Neunschwanstein." I guess if all the other syllables have N's at the end, the first one needs an N as well.
I dunno. She sounds like she still hasn't found her German tongue.
More then you can imagine !
dat "Something About Mary" style cowlick in her hair...
"And I was like: Man, the Germans win again!" Klasse, einfach klasse :D
surprise surprise!!!a german women speaks german.omg!!!LOL
Zynoa Piano
Actually I found it not too bad compared to what I've seen other celebrities say in interviews.
Drarack Why yes, of course. But those people you are referring to can't be classified as "German." They are foreigners trying to speak German, whereas Kirsten Dunst IS, actually, more or less German.
Zynoa Piano She may be of German descent, but she herself was born, raised, and educated in America. Her parents obviously just didn't make it a priority to teach her German, so cut her some slack.
maybewise
i see.but her father is german, so i think it´s naturell, that kirsten can speak a little bit german.in an interview she told, that it is verry important for her, that her name is spoken out like "keeersten" and not "kersten".can you see me?? okay, on the other side it´s okay for her to be called "dunst".in original sound she´s called "dooonst".
if I remember right she lived for like 5 years in Germany with her grandmother
Finally some bilingual actress who is not screaming when shes talking in german thank you
very funny :) Greetings from Germany ;)
i cant stop starring at her legs
the german from the moderator was very funny :D
"Scheißkopf" does exist and is used in Germany, just not the way Dunst used it. As the poster below correctly explained, she meant shithead. In German it actually means "shitty head" although it is likely that we'd also prefer the adjective. You can connect any noun to "Scheiß-" and by doing so express that it sucks or pisses you off. For example if you're driving on a street that has a bunch of potholes and it pisses you off to the extent of cursing it, you can say "Was für eine Scheißstraße", meaning "What a shitty street". "Shitstreet" would also make sense, but I don't think I've heard that one from any English native speaker yet.
Alle englischen stars sagen auf deutsch Schimpfwörter
Hahaha 'm german and this is sooooooo cute :)
You are the expert on this field.
I was there back in '97 when my father was stationed in Wurzburg.
It's funny how a lot of Americans talk about Europe like it's a country.
You don't get it do you?
She can travel through Europe easily with her German passport because of the EU...
That's what she meant...
NeuSCHWEINstein - schwan...its a swan not a pig. ;)
At Least she is not yelling it like Sarah Chalke :D
"Castle Neuenschweinstein" that's a new one ...
This is the kind of thing that, unfortunately, gives Americans such a bad rep abroad - the (usually inaccurate) stereotype of the ignorant American on national TV.
Shes so cute ._.
come over here and try it.
Ich finde den Moderator so unsympatisch
Luv her shoes!!! Shoes goes well w/ her dress & her..I want those damn shoes!!!
6:10 His fake german is great. Sounds german without even one german word in it. If he could stop yelling, it would sound less like Hitler, but anyway, that seems to be the only "german" american people seem to know. So, so all in all: Really good!
According to US people, the best german is a german that no german citizen understands ;-D
Yea. Many Muricans prefer to live in their own, made up, bullshit world - facts be damned! :D Ha ha
So if you are a German, let these deluded sleepwalkers tell you what proper German sounds like. LOL
In fact they have this disney picture instantly for showing, this show is completly staged and fake...
You think they would just go on and have a casual unplanned conversation?
I don't speak German but she didn't sound authentically German at all , she sounded like any English speaking person trying to speak German without actually speaking it ....
I'm German and the things she says at 2:32 and 2:52 sound like native speakers would pronounce it. But the third phrase at 3:11 sounds pretty American.
Oh , yeah , she lived in America more than she lived in Germany so most likely her German is good but with an American accent , its so cool being a bilingual :)
well it probably wasn't really. I mean for example "Scheißkopf" doesn't work in German. Yes it is made up of the word "Scheiß(e)" which means sh*t and "Kopf", which means head (exeption! Totenkopf isn't a death head as many Americans interpret it; it means skull) but it sounds like something a child made up in Kindergarten (btw a nother German word ^^).
I love you kirsten
love her
Andy Richter The Swedish-German knows his German.
i like her, but no she isnt german... she says: get that european passport, no a european passport doesnt exist...its a big diffrence between a german and a french passport... her first insult: scheißkopf doesnt exist in germany...and no the german castles dont look like disney-castles (just neuschwanstein because it was build 200 years ago and not in the medievil like the most german castles)... i think she doesnt know anything about germany^^
As a member of the EU the German passport doubles as a European Passport, with which you get an extra line at many airports.
Kirsten Dunst should have a cameo in the amazing Spider-Man 3:-)
+Kay Rey But you are hyped about his role in CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR and his standalone movie in 2017? I'm totally hyped for The Spectacular Spider-Man😄😄😄😃😃😃😀😀😀😊😊😊☺☺☺😍😍😍
+Kevin Reynart Fortunately that retarded movie about spiderman has ended its reproduction. I'd hope all Marvel's shit disappeared but I'm glad that at least one is dismissed.
she makes the German
language look good!
Kirsten is one of the most adorable women in Hollywood. And to top it all off she's German just like me.
No, I heard it before and I'm from Austria but it's very rare
Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg is the biggest model railroad in the world. Such a nerdy little Kirsten!
I recognized it, having spent 5 years there....
She is fucking awesome!
I took German in high school. I forgot most of it... but Kirsten Dunst is hot.
Conan's fake German is actually very impressive!
Eckart Maichel My thoughts exactly!
