UBER ROCK: I wish I could bottle why I feel so good listening to a particular song and not others but 'Punk Rock Girl' is immense. Is it the chord changes? Is it Honest John's voice? Is it the....fuck it, I'm not fussed what it is, all I know is I'm loving this record and I'm delighted that in 2014 the Boys have decided to get it on and release this thing. - Hudba
talent never leaves like youth does.still a brilliant band with timeless relevant catchy songs full of great melodies and lyrics,without a doubt the best band to emerge from the london original punk movement,as far as songwriting is concerned the original early boys songs although composed largely by casino steel and matt,after hearing the first time and songs like tcp its clear honest john has great songwriting talents and ability,its great to have another writing force as part of the boys musical armoury,this track is fantastic.
RIP Nick Medlin, murdered 25-12-2016, Ventnor IoW. Farewell to a great bass player.
Brilliant - Been listening to The Boys since 1977 and this is one of their best

@@theboysuk1976 Got a question. Did some of you play a gig in central west London with the Lurkers in the early eighties. Memory is a bit faded but I was there for some mix of people. It was in a pub. (I know that doesn't really narrow it down.!!!)

Love the "Sheena is...." reference. Much underrated band in the day. But they clearly still know the essence of a punk song. The NEMS album remains a favourite.

A very good song. I have a huge fondness for The Boys, because the first punk vinyl I ever bought was the band's first album. I paid half my mom's paycheck. Such were the prices of records in the late 70's in Poland. Greetings.
