We are unboxing the brand new Kawai CA-59. There are some assembly that needs to be done, but it's very simple. We recommend being two people at the assembly, because of the heavy weight of the cabinet itself.
All you need is a screwdriver, and that's it.
Kawai CA-59 is an amazing entry/mid-range digital piano with wooden keys and SK-EX rendering.

wow those are very nice piano i want to upgrade my piano soon.
I wanna upgrade my piano to this but I can't find in the market, they've been saying that it will come soon but that soon hasn't came for a long time.
Which one do you recommended Yamaha CLP 745 or Kawai CA 59? Which one has better key action.?
Thank you for your videos helpful.
Aluthge D it is not my job to party with either one of them. I think there is plenty on the interwebs. :-)
But what I will say is, that they both work hard to make the best digital piano possible. Kawai with their wooden keyboard action, Yamaha with CFX/Bösendorfer samples. They really have their own unique sound and action. You should try them out :-)
It sounds very nice! Was it at full volume or 3/4 volume? Thanks
I can see it is on 1/2 volume. If it is default mode, this sound is SK-EX and normal piano technician(sound setting).
Good unboxing! Have you tried Yamaha clp 745 compared CA 59? Action and speakers?thanks
Hi Enrique.
Thanks for reaching out.
Hopefully this week or beginning next week, we will get the CLP-700 series including CLP-745 for a unboxing and first preview. Check back on our channel for that :)
@@Digitalpianocom of course!
@@Digitalpianocom I'd like compare clp 745 Vs CSP 170 about action, speakers and samples.Thank you
Thanks for the demo. Does the music rest detach at all? I know it's fully adjustable and can sit flat but I'm wondering if it can be removed
Hi! No, unfortunately not :)
Very good Sound!! I have humble question?
What's your opinion about CA 59 vs CA 78?
Which is better & Why?
Thank you..
Rj
Hi there RJ
CA-59 is of course the newest product from Kawai and has gotten some great upgrades compared to the old CA-58. But when comparing CA-59 vs CA-78 there are some clear differences. The speaker system in the CA-78 is splendid, with a total of 6 speakers which gives a very deep and natural sounding bass especially. The CA-59, has some newer samples though and therefore has a better clear sound, when compared I would say. But it is really hard to tell. If you were to get a good offer on a CA-78 where the price would match the CA-59 then yes I would go for the CA-78, but I don't think that is possible due to the fact that the CA-78 is sold out and it would then have to be second hand.
@@Digitalpianocom I think you should have in first instance mentioned that the CA78 comes with the Kawai Grand Feel III action. Whilst the 49/59 Grand Feel Compact is great, the CA78 action is superior and the real differentiator here. Its identical to the action in the CA99.
@@Digitalpianocom Thank you so much for your detail Explanation..
@@janfrater9808 I agree with you..I prefer Action of CA 78 compare to CA 59..
@@janfrater9808 CA99 uses the latest GFIII action, CA78 uses the previous generation GFII action. Both are excellent, however GFIII is better.
Hey guys - can you please tell me if I'm crazy here. I have a CA59 and it comes with a headphone hook. It shows that it attaches via two screws to the left side under the keys. But I can't find any pre-drilled holes under there to screw into. Does your 59 have holes for the headphone hook to install?
There are small pre-drilled holes, but they can be overlooked
@Gemma Wood I found in the manual that it referenced the screws as "self tapping". Meaning they should work without pre-drilled holes. So, i took the risk and just screwed them into the wood underneath. Worked fine and nothing exploded. Just thought I'd let ya know!
Kind of surprised it is made of particle board. What model do you have to reach to get real wood?
A real wooden cabinet? Not so easy. I think the only one thet gets close to that idea, is the Roland KF-10 :-)
how heavy is the box? I've heard the wooden keys make the piano heavier.
Just about 100kg. But protection is always around 20kg itself.
Why are the twi panels at the top of the piano mismatched?
There are speakers beneath the darker part towards the back
Is it possible to have the panel not blinking like that? Is ca49 like that too?
Jungwon Lee panel is not blinking. Its due to video fps.
Is it black or rosewood? Thanks
This one is black. âșïžđđ»â€ïž
What is he playing at 9.40?
