Those street performance shocks are like a dream when you feel them for the first time.
Looks perfect, the wheels really fit the look of the truck - wanna do the same drop on my Silverado one day.
Those tires still have hella tread talking bout “I hope they last a month or two” damn you must burn hella 😂😂
Luis and Friends Yea it’s bad 😂😂 rear tires are trash right now
@@209GARAGE hey bro where can I get me 20 inch stock wheels for that price online
yancy velazquez look on the Facebook market place
yancy velazquez If you’re not to far from Fresno Ca there’s a place here that sells take off wheels from all kinds of Silverados call All American Truck & Auto parts. Look them up.
lit video homie 💯💯
U should put some resistors in your turn signals so they can blink normal speed instead of blinking super fast.. 👍👍 badass truck btw 😎
Or just buy the plug in flasher plug.
Just did that last week on mine. It was like a $70 part but so worth it. Took 10 minutes in the oreilys parking lot
You don’t need to buy either... pull the flasher module out from near your fuse box.. there’s a thin metal bar that runs along the inside of it and makes a 90 degree bend. It’s like 1/8” thick(going off memory). Just take a Dremel tool with a sanding wheel and grind it down thinner. You don’t need to do the whole thing. Just somewhere in the middle is fine. Make it half as thick... reinstall it. Done. This bar acts as a resistor, so you increase the resistance by shaving it down smaller. Essentially the same thing you’re doing when you pay for those wiring harnesses. This method just works better, due to less connections and is free.
whats wrong with blinking super fast? just asking since my truck does the same
Clean truck bro! Take it to CTI . Might not be happen this year 😔

Nice truck. Here’s a few tips for what it’s worth... I’ve had three of these trucks, and I’ve learned the hard way on a lot of things in the past after I started modding. There’s a good chance your driveshaft needs to be re-balanced every time it hits that crossmember. Notching the gas tank x-member is just a bandaid to the real issue you’re having, which is serious axle wrap... your truck is not 8” with a flip kit and 2” shackles. Shackles net like 1.25 to 1.5” on these trucks. Your best bet it to install a 2” shackle on the passenger side only. Then install a 1” on the driver side. It’ll get rid of the lean that these trucks have towards the left side. As far as axle wrap goes, it can cause you serious problems if unattended to. if you don’t believe me, take that camera if yours and point it at the yoke underneath your truck and go for a nice spirited drive, while recording a few hard launches... You’ll be amazed at how much axle wrap you’ll get. The leaf springs are allowing your axle to twist so much that your driveshaft is slapping the crossmember. The shocks won’t fix the issue either. Thru might help a little, but they’re not the answer. Save your money and get some Caltracs. It’ll be money well spent for the way (it looks like )you drive the truck. They aren’t really that expensive for what you get. Install their solid aluminum bushings in the front eyelets of your leafs.. And when those DJM parts start to crack or bend from stress, Western Chassis makes the best quality flip kit parts. DJM is junk. Ask me how I know...
Fix Fitness hey can you help me with something please
Xavier Gtz ???
@@champspec my truck has 3 inch drop springs and in the driver side it’s more lower what could it be a bad shock ?
@@juniorurdaddy2027 No this is normal. Its called the "chevy lean" lol... The fix is to install a 1" lower drop shackle on the passenger side rear of the truck. Some add a coil spacer to the driver side front. But I wouldn't suggest this, since the spring pockets aren't the best for spacers.
@@champspec what parts do you recommend so get a smooth ride and the right way to drop 4 inches in the front or 5 inches
Broski whats the link for the shocks all 4?
Planning on goin 3/7 or 4/8 drop on mine on 24s what like 275 35 24 tires
Do the shock extenders actually help if your 8” drop in the rear ?? With the same shocks you got ?
I just installed the street kit part number 9530 with both front and back replacements. Front feels 100% better but the back feels really bouncy for some reason. Was it like this for u they been on for 2 days maybe put about 50 miles on them so far
Where did you buy the hd grill at and for how much?
So do you just use the shock to lower your truck?
You used stock springs for front ? And did u need to compress them
Bro what color is your truck? This looks almost exactly like the color I will be painting my 2011 Silverado extended cab
What drop kit do you have on rear?
Tires look really good to be used
Sick lil hd conversion bro love the nbs chevys.i got a question for you did you use drop shackles drop hangers?and did you just use the drop springs i wanna do that to my o2 silverado
Thank you 💯 and in the front I used 2” drop spindles & 2” springs in the rear I used flip kit & 2” drop shackles.
Ok cool im thinking of adding the drop hangers and just drop springs on mine just getting a insight from ppl thanks man keep up the sick work 👌
Clean
After all this time how does it ride if you still have it

Hey any info on lowering a truck by the torsion adjust bolts? Nice wheels btw
I did a 2" drop on a 86 1/2 NISSAN Hardbody with a torsion bolt adjust for the front. Definitely not an expert, but never heard of it on GM vehicle. Best.
Mine had the torsion dropped 2” n 2” spindle rides good just make sure u got some nice shock like the ones in this video

The extenders gave me wheel hop on my belltech shocks
Do you need to run the extenders if your at 7-8 drop in rear?
YaGoonie 5.3 nah bro I dropped my truck 8in in the back and I’m not running shock extenders
@@extendomigs no bottoming out?

Word of advice sir, please stop using that cheap STP oil filter and use Wix, Donaldson, or Mobil 1 premium oil filters. A premium filter protects better and will have longer filtration qualities than STP, Fram or any cheap filter.
The new shocks add 10hp each, awesome bro. I gotta get me some lol. Show part numbers.
Do shocks only work if the trucks already lowered or can you use it to lower?
Depends on the shocks, check summit racing, they show you best
