I've been to two county fares, and I once saw a piss ant eat a bale of hay, but I ain't never seen nothing like that. Thirty two years in the trade, I guess times are changing. Good job! RD (retired) local 25 Detroit
Did a tilt up like this in Turlock with JD2. It was a nightmare almost every sheet of deck only had one inch bearing on one side. Had to come over and cut all the pins out and slide the sheets over.
BADASS Ironworking. I show your videos in my class. Cannot teach a man to have heart and drive ...but I can show them what looks like watching you connect 👍🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
From Local #512, stay safe brother. If I'd been the guy in the basket I would have been run off. I was taught to never be under a load on a crane. At some locations we can't even touch a load with our hands until it lands.
@@DannyMac786 local #512 works heavily in industrial maintenance of the iron mines in northern MN. If we get caught touching a load with our hands before it lands we will be run off and not allowed to return to that location for life. In my brief 16 years in the trade I have seen several brothers run off for being under loads. I'm sure some locations are lax on adherence to safety protocols. I was simply pointing out that if it were at any location I've worked at I would have been run off. Believe it or not.
this is "Elk Grove". but elk grove isnt ther anymore. the real area of elk grove/wilton people moved or dead and gone. now its a police state for city revnue.
I have nothing but respect for y'all, stay safe!!

Panelizing joists. Meta data center in K.C. Starting soon gonna be a lot of this.
Nothing new, did a mega warehouse project mid 90s.
Love me a tilt , easy money . Doing a studio for Netflix . 68 ft panels had the crane and shores come from Texas
Hopefully it wasn't the one that collapsed

That’s that MSHA stuff. But I’ve worked up there and LAKEHEAD allowed me under the iron all the time. Depends upon the hand as well
No shit that's what I said just lost a brother in local 44 from that. Never get under the load man
Nice endlap on the deck!

GOOD JOB, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💖💛❤💙💚💖💛❤💙💚
looks fun to do one day but not a life
I didn’t know Timothee Chalamet was an iron worker!?
No such thing as safe, just safer.
This is down on Grant line aint it?
Yes
Looks like an Ultrasafe harness, but who’s retractable?
Did they just swing that panel directly over a guy?
I mean yeah that’s not uncommon for Ironworker’s
It's part of being a connector. you do the best you can to stay out from under the load but there are times you just can't avoid it.
Is this an Amazon
No but the same style building
Это работа для железных мужчин.
Never stand under a load
*Stands under a load
