Watched with interest, we have been going to Kefalonia for 32 years although not the last 5 years. I was great to see businesses have survived the pandemic. Especially Micheals Bar I have been octopus fishing with him many times. Thanks for sharing

Our favourite restaurant is the Flamingo but as you say all are good,if you go this year tell Michael Bob and Jackie said hello he will know who you mean 👍

Thanks for the comment. I am just in the middle of doing another video regarding the hotel, should be posted soon. We enjoyed staying there, hotel nice and clean, staff friendly,especially Natasha at the pool bar. Only negative we found was the cost of the air conditioning, which was 10€ per day! Luckily we didn’t need it as it was cooler on a night.

APOSTOLIS . Bit out of village but one of the best in my opinion. GREAT PRICES AND SERVICE.
Skala is a gem, ideal and definitely not the usual over developed destination, like most of this amazing island.
Try Natalie’s apartments, modern and just off the Main Street, it’s absolutely gorgeous...

me and my mum stayed at the Marietta in 2019 before the world went crazy, we're planning on going back this year now that things are settled again, can't wait! 5 years with no holidays has killed us!

We love Kefalonia, been going there for 11 yrs. Go back in September Only missed once when we went to New York USA
So looking forward to going again . Love Michael's bar and the Captain's We are staying at the Captain's again its really nice Hotel
. Have stayed there before. Our favourite restaurant is the Flamingo or the Manor But to be honest They are all excellent

your video was a great help looks really nice, looking at the tara hotel opposite the beach or the nine muse hotel
Thank you for your comment, I’m glad our video helped you, I’m sure you will enjoy your holiday in Kefalonia. We tried most of the restaurants in Skala and the food was fantastic, we would definitely recommend Mikelatos Restaurant, it’s more expensive there but the food and service were out of this world, you may have to reserve a table depending on what time of year you go on holiday.

Kefalonia is lovely. We stay in Skala it's a good base. Hire a car and see the island
Was the ocean still too cold to swim when you busted in May?
We didn’t swim in the sea in May but there was couple of people from the hotel went swimming every day in the sea, they said once you got in it was fine
Nice video, good to see the prices haven't gone up that much since our last visit in 2019, roll on September.

@@mtelectrical8068 the beach was approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel we stayed at, very clean but would recommend wearing beach shoes as there are a lot of pebbles by the waters edge

Hi there, thanks for your comment, I’m really glad you enjoyed our video, we did fly with Jet2, if you do go you must visit Michael’s Bar, everybody knows the place, he’s a real lovely guy. We never a bad meal anywhere, we would recommend Mikelatos Restaurant on the main strip, more expensive than other restaurants but worth every penny. Have a great holiday.

Jakiś koszmar cenowy.
W Polsce za takie dania jak pokazujecie zapłaciłabym Max 100-150 zł bez wina.
We went to Krakow February 2022, compared to Poland the prices are more expensive in Skala for food and drink, but compared to UK they are very reasonable. Hope you still enjoyed your holiday

Just out of interest. Did you eat any Greek food? What’s the point of going to Greece to eat pork chops and chips, steak and chips, air and chips.
We did eat Greek food, Moussaka, Kefalonian meat pie, Gyros, Beef stifado, meze and Gourgouris meat platter, all of which were delicious. We didn’t feel we had to eat Greek every night, but thanks for the comment!
