At first I tried to stay in contact because of my siblings (they are 6-12 years younger than me), but by the time I went no contact they all did their own versions of running. We also get her versions of "I miss you" notes in my husband's work email that gets filtered straight over to our lawyer. My mom had similar mental issues as Trump does. After she got us taken away by CPS, she’d play victim to whoever dealt with her afterwards. Then when she got us back there was always a “quiet time” where she was on her best behavior. But less than a month later she’d ease her way back into her old habits. So my guess is he won’t hold it. His MAGA supporters will want the hateful rhetoric again, sooner than later

@@aylbdrmadison1051 it turned out not ideal but manageable. I ran at 17. My family has restraining orders against her and have been full no contact going into our 16th year.
At first I tried to stay in contact because of my siblings (they are 6-12 years younger than me), but by the time I went no contact they all did their own versions of running.
It's still interesting to hear from 3rd parties the stuff she says about my family too. We also get her versions of "I miss you" notes in my husband's work email that gets filtered straight over to our lawyer. They come randomly, start out "Tell my daughter I love her and miss her..." then she rambles, then it transitions to "you're the one to blame for her not wanting to talk to me..." more ramblings then transitions to, "I should have ended her when I had the chance, tell her she's a selfish brat that doesn't ...." and she rambles the threats then includes her contact information like she just sent a freaking work email.
