Beer of the week: Wild Brew Beer from Marshall Brewing Co. and Elgin Park

For the past 26 years beer fans have raised a glass for the birds, and this year that glass will be this year's Wild Brew beer, which is the beer of the week.
Wild Brew is a fundraiser for the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center, which is best known for bringing bald eagles back to the region. It will be held on Aug. 24 at Cox Business Center.
Sutton and Wild Brew collaborate with different local breweries to brew a special beer for the event. This year McNellie's Group's Elgin Park Brewpub and Marshall Brewing Co. teamed up for a collaborative beer.
"We got to brew this with our good friend, our longtime former employee Lucas Dewell, who is the Brewmaster over here at Elgin Park Brewery," says Wes Alexander, marketing director for Marshall Brewing Co. "It's a hazy pale ale, it's delicious and it's easy drinking. It's going to be available at Marshall Brewing Co., at Elgin Park brewery and also at both McNellie's locations in Tulsa."
Elgin Park is at 325 E. Reconciliation Way. McNellie's downtown is at 409 E. First St., McNellie's South City is at 7031 S. Zurich Ave. and Marshall Brewings' taproom is at 1742 E. Sixth St.
