Someone told me about this long back n I had been searching for the film. I watched this movie thrice during my train journey from Delhi to Ranchi.

PS. I dont usually comment on vids, but this one is worth it.
The tension between the sarna tribals and christian tribals and the question of identity related with it is very well exhibited......also the problems faced by the tribals residing in village is also subtly portrayed, like the friend of the protagonist buys a motorcycle but does not have the money to even fuel it; 'dhibri' and 'lantern' has been used in all the night shots except one of the scenes when the protagonist leaves for his job that means though there is electricity there is no proper supply. Tribal culture and tradition has been demonstrated very well too. Really good work done by the director. Happy to see such good work.....well done 🙂🙂🙂
This is the first sadri movie I saw which is a example of pure cinema.

i really liked the movie ... i was wondering ... how this resembles to every tribal people's life watching this ... the weird silence of the village ... the urge to come out of the place .. but the truth is how we cant escape the fact about our culture , our history and our tribe .. we should celebrate more .. because this is a gift ... nothing to be ashamed of... our language and our people will go extint .. if we dont appreciate and take it forward.. we should celebrate our identity more .

An honest attempt to showcase the identity crisis associated with inter-faith marriages.....good to see the couple finally leaving for home to confront their parents face-to-face...good job Ashok.....you do justice with your role. Keep working.
Great photography, great sound designing, and impressive art direction. Metaphores are very effectively used in the scenes. Wondering how did you manage to shoot the evil cat or is that vfx? I have to watch that scene again. Another wow scene is when the oil bowl fell off from the bed and the expression on Mahadev ji face in that shot is too good. Very easy for the audience to get the pschy of the characters. Each shots are exceptionally planned. And I loved the cut. Super editing. This is an amazing film. As an untrained and ameture filmmaker like me there is a lot to learn from this film. I didn't know about winning the National award. Many congratulations to the whole team.
