Hindu Rope Plant (Hoya Carnosa Compacta) | Care and Info |

The Hoya Carnosa Compacta or the Hindu Rope Plant as it is called is a very unique and beautiful looking plant which I have always wanted but never had the audacity to buy because Hoyas do not survive under my care. But this one has been growing wonderfully well and looking quite healthy and I seem to have figured out how to make it thrive. So in this video I give you the care and info to keep this plant. Hi Ann, every single word you have uttered about this Hoya is absolutely true. i have lost one by dehydration and one to mealy bugs. My third one now thrives in the eastern bathroom in a hanging pot, it gets the morning sunlight and humidity..... although no new growth has been noticed I am happy that it is alive!

I honestly don't remember but I believe it was from an Instagram seller. You will find them on Facebook and Instagram and some nurseries also keep them.

I have justttt procured myself a Hoya compacta. I’m watching a lot of videos where they’ve been saying Leca is the best for this plant. Seeing as it’s a super slow grower, would you say that leca would help speed up it’s growth?
