D_Drive, another super awesome and underrated japanese instrumental band. Their latest album Dynamotive, which is where this song belongs, is definitely worth a listen because is a top tier instrumental display
I love D-Drive. They're not always flashy but their compositional skills are excellent.
Really enjoy listening to D_Drive, subscribed to the channel several years ago and Yuki is tremendous. She and the band are definitely a powerhouse . Thanks for the reaction Ryan! 🤘

D-Drive "Wings" sounds a little Band-Maidish in structure, tones, composition and even playing. One day, I suspect, we'll hear the Pigeon "wing it" by shredding a few coo-riffs! 🕊Thx, Ryan!
I need to listen to them more. Every time they appear on the playlistarama I dig them and I agree that this is my favorite I've heard so far.

Thanks Ryan, glad you enjoyed D-Drive again and I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on them. They are such an underated band!
One of my favorite bands, period. Yuki announced last year that she had cancer. They took time off and she had surgery, and appears to be back performing, but send thoughts and prayers for her to be fully recovered.
She had reported that she is healthy

They sound like session musicians taking a dilettante approach to band performances. No-fret 5-string bass! That does require skills!
They look quite veterans to me, as the drummer must be nearly 40 of age (nothing against it actually as my preference goes to Japanese adult ladies! LOL)!

Part of the intro is a blatant rip off of Duran Duran's "Rio"... but I don't care, firstly because these guys are amazing musicians and secondly because Yuki is fantastic.😍
