    If you saying you don't have to keep God's 10 Commandments then you don't obey God and you must obey God to have eternal salvation as it plainly says in scripture. God's true church obeys him and God will tell you to keep his commandments including the Sabbath because it is one of his Commandments. God's Word doesn't change ever! He has written them in our hearts(conscience).
    And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who OBEY Him,

      yes, I totally agree with what was said during that timeline, keep the commandments under the dispensation they were living under at that time.
      But now we live under the law of Christ!
      Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
      Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
      Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
      Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
      Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
      Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
      Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
      Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
      Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
      Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
      Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
      Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
      Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
      Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
      Do you not see that the old law was nailed on the cross with Christ?

      @@angelmd43 allow me to ask this one question please…
      Did Christ fulfill the law of Moses?
      Think about it before you answer that question….
      Did Christ fulfill (completed, satisfy, finish) the old law?
      This was the law that the thief lived under, this was the law that Christ lived under.
      Did Christ fulfill the old law?
      Yes or No ???
      Mat 5:17
      Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
      What says you?

    Love Brother Shannon, now hold on there with the won’t come to Bible study. Sure I go to Bible study, yet don’t impose that as a Bible requirement. Yes grow in the grace and knowledge of the LORD. Study the Bible everyday maybe that Bible class just isn’t enough to grow quickly and flourish. Can see too good here, these sunglasses aren’t readers, maybe be typos. Yeah, now what churches have done with their continued meeting three times a week or s fine but don’t impose it. Been a member a long long time and what I’ve seen is members get burnt on having to go out to church three times a week which we don’t read about in the New Testament

      Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

      Galatians 3:11" But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for the just shall live by faith" Gal 3:27 "for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ". The law were for the Jews, but we today live by the new testament Hebrews 9:15 " And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament". Now there are nine of those laws that are in the New Testament, but one that is not, keeping the Sabbath is not. @@angelmd43 But the body of Christ are not those that keep the 10 commandments. We keep the law of Christ or God (New Testament). Christ is in our hearts thought faith Roman 10:17 says faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. In the New Testament, it says in Gal 3:12 the law is not of faith. Also in Gal 3:24-25 says " Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith, but after that faith has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Yes, we are to obey the New Covenant(testament) by Christ. The New Testament or Covenant began when he died according to Hebrews 9:17 " For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth". After Christ rose from the grave in Mark 16, He says in Mark 16:15-16 how to be saved. And in the Book of Acts ch 2, we see Peter standing up speaking the Gospel vs 14-36, vs 37 says Now when they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men, and brethren, what shall we do? vs 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Vs 41 they received his word were baptized. Vs 47 And the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved.

      @@angelmd43 Yes he did say keep his commandments, but we keep those commandments under the new testament and not old testament. Read Colossians 2:11-18, this is talking about after a person is baptized, look at vs 16 " Let no man, therefore, judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day, or of a new moon, or of the SABBATHS". You see under the old testament they had to keep these things, but we don't have to keep these things under the new testament, I can eat what I want, also said 1 Timothy 4: 3-4

    When you say , if you leave one of the ingredients out , you have missed it , there are a couple of instances in the book of Acts where it's not so , if you mean a person didn't get saved . One is concerning Priscilla and Aquila and Apollos . What about those Apollos had brought the Gospel to but it wasn't exactly perfect . He was fervent in the Spirit and taught diligently , just as you are , but something was lacking . If one or more sinners that heard him declaring the Gospel had died before they had been baptized in the name of Jesus , do you think they would have went to hell ? God's word never contradicts it'self . Jesus Himself said : All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Priscilla and Aquila took Apollos unto them and expounded the way of God more perfectly . There's a good lesson in this !!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes , us ministers don,t know or completely understand everything we think we do . I am in no way meaning to belittle you . I'm simply seeking to understand the truth just like you but to declare so many lost that have come to the lord for salvation is not mine nor yours to make that call . Our task is simply to bring the Gospel of Christ to the sinner that's never been saved or heard it . Now , the other is a person that believed but had not received the Holy Ghost . And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples , He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed ? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost . And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized ?And they said, Unto John's baptism . Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus . When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus . And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied . This situation is the same as above . I ask again , do you not think it's possible that some of these could have died before they had all the ingredients for salvation and if so , would they have went to hell ? It wasn't their fault that they hadn't received all the ingredients . I think we all need to carry out the great commission of Jesus Christ and deliver the Gospel to the lost world and quit bashing one another . Apostle Paul said ; And Christ Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers , for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ , till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God , to a perfect man , to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children , tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine , by the trickery of men , in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting , but, speaking the truth in love , may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-Christ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All protestant churches are churches of Christ , just like you all . Different names over the door only signify the way that body of Christ believe certain Scriptures different from another body . THE MAN MADE RULES , made as a result of their belief in the scriptures , may not be Biblical , of which most of the rules , if not all are probably wrong . Most of these bodies run each other down , including yours , just like you are running down the protestant churches . Sometime there are as much difference in opinion or belief of scriptures in the one body as there are in the different bodies . There is nothing unusual about this , seeing the Apostles were continually gathering back to Jerusalem to work out differences in beliefs and sometime with sharp contention , but they loved each other and Christ and kept on walking in the Lord . May God bless the Church Of Christ , as well as all the Churches built on the foundation of Christ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!----Ernest E. Johnson
