The boat was first used as a demo boat for Fairway Marine and they used her as collateral on a loan. Money may have been tight so the woodwork was never fitted (quite a saving on teak!). Not having it meant no holes in the topsides and easier maintenance over the years. There may be one or two other F31's without the strakes.

Built like a tank. Not sure Im a fan of 2 bench seats in the pilothouse. Would go for a fwd facing helm seat.
But this could cross oceans.
