@@abbaralph2011 I have had a cheap set of pipes and a chantter for many years... and I bought a WARBL (Electronic Tin Whistle) that you can play like the pipes. But this christmas I treated myself to a set of Twist Trap Practice Pipes and a Blair Digital Chanter. I am really liking the chanter, for piping, it's much better than the WARBL I would really like a set of Northumbrian Smallpipes, even if it was with an 'old style' keyless or 4 key chanter. in time, with all these 3d printed pipes, someone might come up with a set. or even make, remake a set of the mythical Lincolnshire smallpipes - I'd buy that :)
@@FiddlingwithmyWhistle glad to hear you love the Blair. That peaks my interest as well. Sky is the limit with three d printing if you can get the guy who makes them the plans, he can print it
@@abbaralph2011 there is a guy called Mike Nelson, he has a webpage, with a load of CAD files for CNC'ing the Northumbrian Smallpipes. but I would not know where to start. I keep hoping he will offer them for sale, but he seems to just make them for schools. The Blair is worth a look, I have mine set up with a stereo input cable into the laptop, to play along with my headphones on. And for me... a slow novice, it plays well with out any adjustments to the sensitivity settings. My fingering has improved so much in the passed week. now that I don't have to blow and finger at the same time. LOL
Let me know if you’d like to collab! Here’s a recording of my MSR for this solo season: MSR - Donald Cameron, Bogan Lochan, Pretty Marion czcams.com/video/F-PRmkTM3eE/video.html
Cool stuff! Thanks! 😎
Glad you liked it!
they do look good :)
You should get yourself a custom set too!

Are you playing with a band? Sounding great!
Not currently. What about you?
I did last season, not sure what we’re doing this season. We might be starting a new band here in the Midwest!
