I liked the before look...just needed a humbucker ❤‍🩹EVH😉Seriously though, many original Fenders were 'personalized' beyond recognition back before 'Vintage mania' much to the horror of modern day collector & coveters .it really IS just a hunk of wood, to do whatever thou wilt. These guitars had personality and utility in their 'before' states & tell a story of creative individualism.
The restoration process is a fascinating exercise, and an example of the durability of these guitar's elements and their utility.
