Yep, In 1959 I started running our JD 55 combine at age seven - we were excited to do 15 acres a day. lol!

That's good going- the Tornado did not show up either. Why do the farms have no storage Silos, to take wheat to? . Do these farms you cut wheat for not have a single trailer to empty wheat into. Is the answer to have a second trailer, or are the logistics of having 2 trailers impossible. Great days your Mom Combine did, when she did 2o acres more than your :)

So seems like this year you could use 3 more tucks, and drivers to be able to cut what you want during the day atleast.
Are the trucks going to an elevator or to the farmer? I lnow i could sit in line for awhile if the elevator was really busy

With the choppers disabled is there a noticeable change in power demand? Certainly the dust his minimized, but what about the power change? When you are working late in the night does that mean that the elevators taking the wheat are still open? Or do they remain open 24 hours? Or is this wheat being stored in private bins?

Do the s770 have enough power run a 40 ft header. When we had a 9770 it barely had enough power to run a 40ft. That is dad bought a s680.
Yes, we rented a s680 one year and hated the rethrasher on it
We run a 40 on a 770 and has no trouble at all
