Great song and great album. Wore this tape out back in the day. I was in middle school when this came out and attended Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Irmo, SC with my family. Mom and Dad have since gone home to be with the Lord. Great memories.

Awesome music and message.I remember all the religious hypocrites in the day on their soapbox crying and judging us for us listening to Christian rock.. They made it clear they didn't believe in rock music ..they need to make the statement of believing in BIG BROTHER JESUS and not judging others!!!!

Had the albums with cassette played them until the tape would wear out or got caught up in side of it. At the time this was great,I just came to salvation, praise God

@evilunixuser1 Styles were dramatically different, though. From memory, Greg had a bit more of an operatic voice when compared to John's rasp. Also, wasn't "Come and join us" in closer to falsetto range?
Didn't they rough up their sound after he left? Cos it was quite Eaglesish when he was with them to my ear.

@evilunixuser1 From War and Remembrance (my brother had most of Petra's material), didn't Greg have more of a baritone voice to John Schlitt's tenor?
Also, IIRC, crossfading between this and Chameleon in my head, didn't John sing about about a half-octave higher for most of his stuff?

It's the female version of Peter/Petrus, meaning rock. Both biblical (as Jesus describes his words as the rock on which wise people build) as an amusing reference to their music style.
