- Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

Super detail ! I love it
Hope the video helps. More to come.
Nice and perfect thanks
Thank you very much
There is a much simpler and quicker way to get to the BTS. DMK airport has a bus to the Mo Chit BTS station (Green Line), it's a 25 minutes ride, costing about 30b. I last rode it in April 2024, total ride less than US$2, from DMK to Nana BTS Station...
They've always had the Mo Chit bus. The area near Chaeng Wattana is full of diplomats. At anytime they can stop traffic for 15 or 20 minutes for a motorcade. The train is way easier and more reliable than BKK traffic. Mo Chit to Nana can take an hour in BKK traffic. The train might be 20 minutes. But, if you like a bus, that's cool
@@EagerExpat i flew in from vietnam 3days ago and found it very difficult to find the red line because signage is very sparse.. i finally found the entrance to the red line on floor 2 of domestic terminal at the entrance to the car park garage ... once i found it things were simple and the Red Line and Blue line take VISA with just a tap at the gates (NO NEED TO BUY TICKETS) but to get to the Green Line you have to take both the Red Line (to Bang Sue) and then the Blue Line from Bang Sue to Chatuchack Park Station and then leave the building entirely and walk over to the stairs that go up to the Green Line at Mo Chit station
Nice infromation 😊👍🎉🎊
Thanks for watching
NowThat's what I call a review.Thank you
Thanks Robert. Is that my buddy from San Diego Robert? Hope all is well
👍👍👍
Thank you for watching
If you have a contactless credit card (visa or mastercard) you can just simply tap it at the fare gate. It works both on SRT Red lines and all MRT lines. Foreign credit cards accepted. No need to use cash. Only BTS doesn't have this kind of system.
Yes, I've since learned that. You can also use the Rabbit card on the new MRT Yellow Line.
@@EagerExpat and Pink line too. Both lines operate by BTS’s sister companies.
Superb! Thank you for this video. I am a foreigner and doing business here. 💚👍*expatSOFA*
Thanks for watching. It's a great train system once you figure out the pay systems. It's much easier at rush hour than sitting in traffic.
Dear for MRT Subway you can use your credit card tuoch at the gate Only the card with signed of Wi-Fi
Good to know. Hopefully one day all the trains will work on a single card. Hong Kong, Singapore etc.. Like the Octopus card. Still, it's a nice public transit system. I use a few trains everyday. Thanks for watching.
Blue, purple, and red lines accept Visa Mastercard. No need to buy tickets. Hopefully BTS will follow eventually.
@@Sttyn Thanks for the info and watching.
Train station is very far from Airport terminal cause They have a plan to build a new bigger Airport terminal on the opposite side of train station in a few year so they have no choice to build train station here.
It's not that far, but it might catch some people off guard. That will be nice when they get a new terminal. I prefer Don Muang over BKK
Hi Joe. Thanks for the detailed vdo. Super helpful. One question - overall, how long did it take to get from DMK (let's start the clock at the airport concourse, after you exit the International Arrival Hall) to the MRT Sukhumvit station, including the long walks to the stations etc?
Hey thanks, I did this video a long time ago. I'm a lot less shaky and pointy these days. Ha ha. The train takes awhile. I know I did a better video, I can't find it, maybe my flight to Kuala Lumpur, that gave all the times. To walk from T-1 to the train is a solid 15 minute walk.
These government trains don't run every 4 minutes like the BTS, so you might wait 15 minutes for a train. You also have a long walk from the government train to the MRT at Bang Sue (Krung Thep Aphiwat Central). Maybe 8 to 10 minutes. Make sure you get on the correct direction. It goes in a giant circle. One way has 8 stops and the other 20.
So if you get lucky, it should take about 1 hour 20 minutes. If you just missed each train, maybe 1 hour 40 minutes. Now the airport rail link from the Asoke area to BKK is 23 minutes. It has 5 stops?
@@EagerExpat Thanks a lot Joe. You've been really helpful. All in, I guess I should set aside two hours for the entire journey. If I arrive early, then I guess it's Singha time lol. Cheers.
@@stevenyong846 Ya it will be less than 2 hours. A cab or Bolt in traffic can be 45 minutes or longer. I have nothing but time, so the train is perfect for me.
@@EagerExpat yeah if not rushed and without cumbersome luggage, the train is perfect. It's just less stressful than being on the road, even as a passenger.
@@stevenyong846 100% agree.
How far is terminal 2 from terminal 1?.. how much time does it take in Transit?
It's a big airport. Maybe a 10 minute walk. To transit and re-do security, etc.. Might take 30-45 minutes. Depends on the line. It's usually pretty smooth
How far is the walk from International arrivals?
A very short walk. The train is almost in the terminal
Golf course Air force, I think I maybe for public, because I heard Japanese people like to go this place.
Kantarat is owned by the Royal Thai Air Force but the public is allowed to play today. Looks like a fun course, if you like airplanes
@@EagerExpat Thank you, and I heard it has only 9 holds.
When exiting MRT Sukhumvit, how do I procceed to Sukhumvit SOi 5? Thank you.
Take the MRT to Sukhumvit station and switch to the BTS Train. Get off (one station) at Nana and your 200 feet from Soi 5
@@EagerExpat thanks man.
@@simplyfilipino6408 no problem. Have a good trip
