I've had this bike for about a year and a half now and have put on maybe 500 miles. It's not perfect, but it's a great bike, especially when comparing it's price to some of the others. I'd buy it again in a second. I also get compliments on it all the time; just got one today actually.
Also, the vid shows them cruising along on a beach; I'd be careful with that, especially if you're cruising along and then it suddenly turns into soft sand, such as going from a sidewalk to the beach. You *will* get bucked. I've had it happen. It's not very good in non-"hard" sand.

It really is the one of the best if not the best for trail use. If you talk to some of the owners of the other bikes that are twice as extensive like the Himiway, Rad Rover, M2S, juice bikes rip current and alot of othes,, they all say the same thing, some of them top out over 30 miles an hour but their geared for a high top speed and don't have the torque to pull Hills on the trails. That and the frame is better then most, because it has the newer bigger style head tube that with the right Hardware, will enable you to mount one of those now close to $800 Rock Shocks or Manitou Forks with the tapered steerer tube, most of the other bikes not all but most are set up for the one and 1/8 threadless steerer tube. The only down fall of the bike is that the motors is wired directly into the controller, which makes changing the Freewheel and major pain in the rear.

I own this ebike, with a fork, battery, and derailleur upgrade this is the best ebike on the market by far for trail use. And on the street it tops out of 26 mph. Also not 500w, pulls a little over 1,000 with a battery upgrade, about 950 with stock battery. On the trails it climbs faster than anything else I've seen.

Just curious, how come ya wanted a derailleur upgrade? Also, which battery upgrade did ya go for? thinking about one myself.

@@ScottElblein I got one of those 48v 20ah triangle packs they sell on Amazon. It's been pretty good to me, about 3,000 miles on it, not quite the range that it used to get but it's still got all the power. With the derailleur I just went with a cheap Shimano, the one they call the flat face. It's a cheap derailleur but it works pretty well. The bike came with a Shimano Tourney, witch is supposed to be better, but sometimes the chain slap is really terrible with those derailers, and I bought the bike mainly to mountain bike with. It's only got a 7-speed Freewheel so it doesn't need a real great derailleur, but I put a longer chain and the flat face got rid of all the chain slap.
