He may not have long hair and say maaaan anymore but he's still playing the cool dude who doesn't know what's going on and wasn't listening to anything anyone said. Meanwhile, he micromanages everything in that studio and knows exactly what's going on at any given moment.

What fascinates me about Patrice more than his "reasoning" or black Philip or anything else, is the fact that he wanted Opie to be his sort of, "friend from the show, that he hung out with outside of the show. Anthony became that by default really. I'm not sure how many times he actually went to Ant's though. Unless that whole conversation where he said that, and about being "apartment guy" and whatnot was bullshit, which i don't believe.
Opie is a moody guy but Ant has strong opinions about blacks
@@blujay1524 i don't think Patrice cared. I think he actually appreciated being able to speak candidly with Ant rather than be around people who tell him what they think he wants to hear
He hung out with Opie a couple of times that they specifically mentioned on the show. He had a very different relationship with each one of them, but he liked them both for different reasons. I know everyone likes to hate both of them now but both Opie and Anthony do have their good points.
It's hard to extrapolate a dead man's feelings about people based on radio clips.
Opie constantly pressing buttons that don't even make sense. Enough already!
