- A fine selection of Blackpool Heritage Trams were in service with an Enhanced timetable over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Blackpool was rather quiet for a Holiday weekend probably with people being put off with the weather forecasting rain at times. In fact apart from a few showers the weather was fine.
Heritage Trams, Decent weather, Fish'n'Chips and a few Pints. What's not to like.

can't beat the sound of the tram wheels going over the points and crossings, really is a unique sound isn't it.

Yes Blackpool wouldn't be Blackpool without the Heritage fleet. Weather is always fine in Blackpool (except when its not :-) )
I've often thought (apart from the B-fleet doors ,hideous) if they built the double decker millennium cars to the width of the coronations, then it would virtually bring the trams in to modern sizes... (yes, I know they are rebuilds of the Balloon frames)
We went on Sunday ,shame no boat trams or Bolton 66 as weather improved after lunch,enjoyed tram rides
Yes the weather was a bit changeable. Thankfully you still enjoyed the Tram ride.
Will the trams do something during the King’s coronation?
Yes there is a Tram Parade on Sunday 7th May.
Beautiful but impossible to get such road for traffic free transport in our chicken infested city of Calcutta, India 😮.
Yes Blackpool trams are lucky to run next to the road.
