Mermaid Swipe Tutorial - Acrylic Pouring | Calming Painting ABcreative (ASMR)

- In today’s episode I’m using the Swipe method to create acrylic skins, which are later on cut out to form the body of a Mermaid. I chose to do it this way as I wanted to be able to control the process more and pick only the sections I wanted. I also painted the background with a brush and a sponge to create some depth and colour gradation.

It's very beautiful, but this is the hard way. Skins are awesome and lend themselves to so many applications, but this is the hardest way to do it. Not wrong, but the hard way.

The most original idea I’ve seen yet ! I’ve tried so many times to paint pictures of mermaids and been so disappointed with the results.
