Hafler DH-500 Power Amp Repair II - Protection Mode and Fluctuating DC Offset

This is the second repair video I made for the Hafler D-500 power amplifier. In this video, I am sharing how I troubleshoot and repair for the "protection mode on" and "fluctuating DC offset" issues. I hope it can be helpful for other DIY fans when dealing the same problem I had in their D-500 amplifiers.

I have 2 of these converted to mono 800 W 8 ohms

Nice to see you again, always interesting ! Follow you from France...question : it seems that is a 2W resistor replacement Why replace with this value ?

The resistor is a 1/2W replacement due to the spare part I stocked on hand (OEM is a 1/4W resistor).
