feel bad for Thompson, guys a rookie and has given his team a chance to win the past 3 games and Vegas have somehow found a way to go 0-17 in shootout attempts
Thats because the players on Vegas sniff their own farts.. They are so impressed with themselves they expect the wins to be handed over to them without actually putting in a solid 60 minute effort and outworking the other teams
The last 3 losses for Vegas have been incredibly poetic They lost to their most hated rival, my Sharks in a comeback effort with a #23 in teal to seal the victory in the SO They lost to the Stars in the SO, which is the team that ousted them in the conference final in the bubble. Then they lost to the Blackhawks, the team they traded Fleury to while he found out via Twitter. And some say hockey superstitions don't exist..
Poetic is quite possibly the most accurate description of them losing the way they have to miss the playoffs. Don't worry, I'm sure Thompson will find out he's been traded via fortune cookie prior to next season.
I think it’s fantastic that trading away that loveable work horse team to their “powerhouse of skill” team that costs almost a hundred million dollars finally bit them in the ass
Us Kings fans hate Vegas so much we were rooting for one of our biggest division rivals and the team we played in the conference finals twice to beat them
I’m a Vancouver fan so it’s weird being happy Chicago won. Not even anti-Vegas either, I rather liked their misfit vibe in their inaugural season, but after Gallant, Fleury, Reeves and the attempted Dadonov trade, I feel that the Vegas management deserved this. Traded their heart and soul for superstar names with no chemistry, impulsively dumped a winning coach who’s now leading the Rangers well, and they are now paying the price (feel bad for Thompson tho, rookie really tried pulling his superstar team into the playoffs)
I, as a Golden Knight fan, couldn't agree more. McCrimmon has destroyed the chemistry on this team with horrible trades. He has thrown away all of the draft picks too. He just doesn't get it. He thinks high priced means great talent. Pietrangelo is really overrated and not hungry anymore. Eichel, right now, is nowhere near where he was before his injury and killing the Knights for the cap. Every fan of hockey that hates the Knights could be extremely happy the next few years if they come back and play like this from now on. It was disgusting the way they played with no heart or passion. Not what this team started as.
Yep I think alot of fans on any team are thinking the exact same way. They did flower incredibly dirty, and I lost all respect for them after that. I'm glad it was Chicago who took them out.
Also not mentioned is they assumed they'd make the playoffs and then being 15 million over the cap would've be no big deal....ouch... I wonder if they will start to communicate with their players now before moving them....
@@vegasbucs3519 I say this as a Sharks fan, nothing made me happier than beating your team on Sunday. Long time coming too, beating us 11 times in a row, it was long overdue. However, I do feel for Thompson, and for most of the fans. Thompson gave it all he could, stood on his head, and the team in front of him gave him absolutely nothing. 0-17 in the SO is not on him.. Seeing him devastated against the Sharks, and the Stars, I felt for him. For his sake, I hope he doesn't kick himself too much, because he made some unbelievable saves.
