Pastor I pray in tongues but it will be only for 5 mins..but only when HolySpirit fills me, it flows out of my mouth....but I wanted to pray atleast 30 mins..how to stay in spirit 30 mins..

I once heard a story of someone speaking in tongues until someone in the crowd said that that person speaking in tongues was unknowingly blaspheming God. The type of speaking in tongues which the video refers to is definitely not from God. I have been around people who speak in tongues too and my heart beat always raises to the roof so there is that too. If it was a gift from God it wouldnt make me scared to death to have to experience it. Recently i also found about similar new age things like light speech, star speech, dragon speec etc. The names already tell us that the ability to speak nonsense isnt a gift from God and especially if it causes fear. The Bible talks about tongues ❤ and what he’s talking about is the mysteries in the spirit that God begins to show you as you grow in the spirit realm. My testimony is kind of like yours, I used to be very afraid of speaking in tongues. But it was only the devil who did not want me to speak because it is a powerful warfare weapon. I pray that God opens both our eyes and ears to see and hear, and that the his spirit guides us to all truth. Because according to Psalms 51: 6 God desires truth in the inward parts. Of us. ❤
I pray that we receive the gift of tongues in the mighty name of Jesus. There is no stronger communion with God than speaking his native language. Let's be intentional about seeking the presence of the Holy Spirit.

@@servantstellanatam3080 no. The Lord speaks to us all in different ways and everybody has different gifts. My gift of discernment is out of this world. Even you hear your pastor speak about speaking in tongues is not something everybody should be trying to do if you can't do it you just can't.
