i feel like short deck is way more boring to watch than NLH. the preflop game is basically just limping and maybe one raise occasionally. there is no crazy 3 or 4 bet

totally agree, its so short stacked as well so it can easily just go raise and then shove and it makes post flop decisions so much easier. Much prefer deep stacked cash games
I disagree, there is a lot more post flop play which I find more interesting than preflop raising battles.

This is short deck poker so rules are a little bit different. In this game A is count as 5 when is needed for straight.
At 18:15 why did Tan Xuan won the first round? Did i miss something?
Short Hand, Ace replaces the missing 5. It is bit confusing flush beats a FH, but if you read up on it, you will understand.

A 6 7 8 9 is a straight in short deck. The Ace still functions as the bottom end despite 2-4 being removed

It's very normal in short deck to take money off the table. Normally there is an encouraged cap (it's not enforced). It's because of the shovey / swingynature of it, it's best you aren't doing that for more than 100-200 antes.

Short deck rules
Short deck rule is similar to regular holdem where A plays as high and low - think of it as a wheel
A ace can be used as a 5 to make a low straight A,6,7,8,9.

That last hand I personally don't understand what hand trueteller is trying to get him to call the all in with? If the flush is worrying why not just call it down. The way this is played out looks like he's shoving to get called by a bluff, which is stupid. Or the nut flush, which makes his all in raise look even more stupid. Haha
Id raise that 30k bet on the river to maybe 80 to get a k high to call on the river. But even that would take skill to pull off
