- It is a simple question, is it worth this season coming back to Apex Legends Season 20? We have all had some time in the newest season now. Let's ask t he tough questions with @Draynilla!
Is this the season of compiled work that showcases Apex Legends is not dead? Is the community happy? What do we want more from Apex Legends? Today we really try to poke holes now that Apex Legends is 5 years in and see what is really working and how all these changes have impacted Apex Legends for the better such as the skill trees and newest balance changes introduced!

apex s20 brought my friends and I back in with the ranked and evo changes, super fun time now that it's not stale
Problem is everyone wants to be top dog, gap between average and top players is vast yet the average player thinks that level is obtainable for everyone.
Playing as a team, understanding what all the classes do and what opportunities they provide you during play is vital. Understanding that you really have to work together to have fun and that having fun isn't always going to equate to high damage/kill games as an individual player.
Good teams will capitalise on teams with no cohesion.
the matchmaking is really a disaster. I have 2k kills and today I'm permanently in the match with Master who has 30 to 100k kills... it's unbelievable. Why isn't this being repaired slowly? You can't have fun anymore.
Forced proximity chat would have only 1 result: noone would ever use voice chat or even plug their mics out. The only thing it does is force teams to use Discord and punish solo queue even more.

Imo, one of the biggest problems in this game has been sound. A lot of times I can’t hear people close to me and I cant track them in a fight.
Perk system is good but there is a few characters I believe they should fix or rework their perk system (such as horizon/ballistic/ fuse/crypto)
Season 20 is the first season I've been back since season 16. Things are still kinda the same but different. I don't think it's so much worse but I think there's room to grow. I'd say more 7/10. it never fell below 5 for me, tho.
It’s the same thing as last season I don’t understand what are people liking about it s20 😂 then again I’m talking ranked. “I haven’t ran into any cheaters at all” cheaters with low setting aimbot:😏 bro people don’t know what cheating looks like. There’s rage and then there’s closet cheating.

Now, when Respawn Entertainment tweaks the meta for the pros, the casuals huddle in their digital nooks, muttering, “Why fix what wasn’t broken?” The weapon they loved? Nerfed. The map they knew? Altered. The game they played for relaxation? Now a puzzle with missing pieces.
And so, as the scales tip toward pros, where does this leave the casuals? In the dog house. They peek out from behind their barricades, squinting at the horizon. The pros soar like winged legends, while the casuals scavenge for P2020s and hope for a lucky third-party photobomb.
But fear not, dear casuals. The dog house has its perks. It’s cozy, tucked away from the esports spotlight. You can sip your virtual tea, swap Mirage decoy stories, and occasionally-just occasionally-pull off a sneaky win. And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll rise from the dog house, not as underdogs, but as legends in your own right.
In this delicate dance between challenge and comfort, may both pros and casuals find their joy-whether it’s a 20-bomb or a silly Mirage decoy dance. And may the next season bring balance to the arena, or at least a few more respawn beacons.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like the new armor system , perks? Why add another mechanic to an already complex game and as a console player using the perks is not intuitive at all which breaks my immersion. As far as shields go I’m a solo queue player and they are making the game so “balanced” that it is no longer enjoyable as a solo. The old armor system/swap gave it a level unpredictability which I found enjoyable because it can give you an edge especially having two randoms. It’s used to be so gratifying getting diamond/master solo now I just don’t have the time to play 10 plus hours. 😕 Old halo player Apex was potentially my favorite game of all time but I’m think about deleting for good.
TLDR : Preferred having no perks and old armor system.

Good no.... Matchmaking is terrible still. There are cheaters however all cheaters are not bad players. Solo rank higher levels is terrible
