Well, he's American, anyway. We don't know if he's specifically Unovan, though. Remember, Unova isn't the US, it's just New York City and the surrounding area. He could be Orrian (if you interpret Orre as being in the southwest US geographically. Personally I tend to place Orre more in Hiroshima due to its backstory but Orre is really the only major region without a confirmed real-life geographical equivalent).

*@VestedUTuber* Actually... Colosseum and it's sequel are considered spin-offs from the mainline Pokemon games. These aren't even canon!
Which IS a shame, really... I happen to like those games too.
