I have a 96 Caddy hearse that just started making this noise as I put it in the garage today. I know it's the pulley bearing. THANKS to you, I see it's an easy fix.

whats the pully or rollers under the powersteering pump ?
Idler pully. Squeak comes from the bearing going out. Check the idler itself for proper tension too. Both cheap on rock auto or Amazon.
@@Twostallgarage so it is my Belt tensioner rolleye going bad, if i loosen the bolts will that loosen the blet as well so i can replace the tensioner rolleye ?
@@thomas-is6nx yes, or remove the 3 10MM bolds that hold the tensioner and replace the whole thing. The resistance in that spring gets weak as well.
@@thomas-is6nx yes. New roller will come with the new bearing though and probably simpler to replace then pushing on to the old one
After you change it and its still squeaks how to find the problem on a 95impalass I have that problem
Did you check and make sure the belts not cracked and is aligned? What about your cooling fan, did you check that? They squeak as well.
The vacuum ac hose coming out the fire wall what does it connect to
Believe you’re referring to the drain plug for the AC. The unit under the dash drips water and needs to drain. Make sure yours is clean and clear.
Not the drain plug this comes from back of the ac threw the fire wall threw the wire harness it opens the passenger side square pocket behind the ac vent that black hose open and close it
@@reggiedavis1943 I gotcha. I’m thinking it’s the vacuum that controls the door for the blower motor.

I sprayed WD40 on my belt and it started making that noise, It's been about 3 months and it still sounds the same don't knock if I should spray more or leave it alone 😭 any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Sounds like the bearing is going out in the pully. This is the trouble I had. Sounds very similar to belt squeak.. change your tensioner pulley and you’ll be good to go!
