The reference to a dad wanting his son to learn mechanics and instead go and play Minecraft and read books is surprisingly specific, which made it even stranger when I had that exact situation as well. That was a great set, I hope you can climb out of the gutter man

As an indie author who has been trying to start their own CZcams channel for extra revenue and get some big projects done, but that was recently hit with crippling depression, a broken foot, and a cancer diagnosis for someone very close to me, this video is shedding light on some very good topics. Thank you, man. So glad it was recommended to me in my feed. Also, Lance Reddick is a highly underrated actor that made even the terrible RE TV show script good. Too bad everyone else was so bad at acting.

I wouldn’t say depressed for myself, more so incredibly downtrodden. I do feel incredibly… useless sometimes which is a pain as one who seeks to write books to help my family…I’ve gone through many projects and drafts, awaited miracles, glared upon drafts I thought good and now have expanded or abandoned… it’s… painful… to sit there, and struggle and not be able to do the one thing I can do. And I love it too! Life I suppose… it changed from joyous activity to a reliance, to a thing I need to do or I’ll never be able too later…
But… Amidst that despair, there’s always a dawn… but for each time it gets much worse… Tears, Days of just empty mind… It’s tumultuous… but, it’s all I can do, and… I love to do it… I may look upon those endless drafts in worry or sorrow, though some days I smile, and enjoy them… remember that I started writing to write stories I loved, to write stories for those characters long formed in my mind who yearned to play in worlds of their own… It’s all worth it for them… And It may be hard to do it all Justice, but in the end, I’m the only one who can.
To all those worried about whatever you do, don’t worry too much, for you’re the only one who can do what you can do, the way you do it. Now don’t phone it in, always try, for we may not be perfect, but that’s the best part, improving always and ever onwards until those walls feel like steps. Knowing each challenge we face is yet another step we shall tread upon soon enough. Pray, Live, Believe in yourself, think not in despair, cling to hope, to that light… In the end, you still live, and as long as you do you can do it, because you were put on this world to do whatever you are struggling to do right now, and if there’s a fire inside you, if your heart leaps for it, if you cry for it, if you lie in worry for it, then try, try, try again. Never give up! Weather the Pain it’ll be worth it, never stop seeing the stars, never stop reaching for them, never stop dreaming, never stop. Press onwards, only you can do it, and you will, and one day you’ll look back, and realize how foolish it was… Faith, if you believe not in God, still have Faith, in you, your work… Just remember, give all you can, hold your hand out to others, for though no one else might’ve done so for you, don’t be like them. Don’t forget where you came from. Remember everything! Shine On Boys and Girls!

I’ve been focusing on art… Getting into making videos, playing a lot of Halo. And trying to come up with content for my channel.
But I lose motivation and feel depressed some days more than others. It feels like I’m going nowhere some days. But others feel so productive and fulfilling.

Ngl the mega construx figures look like they’d scale perfectly with a lot of transformers figures, at least the cars/trucks. Kinda makes me wanna get some and try.
Though buildings would still be kind of an issue since I don’t really know how to make properly scaled structures, and you’re being hard on yourself, your buildings actually look and work really well imo
This was also really relaxing to listen too. Just a calm voice and nice visuals make for a great video to watch while taking notes on said topic and eating some biscuits

I have a question on your shooting process. When you use large sets how do you get close ups and various shots? Do you take it apart, move things, or use a lens with a lot of zoom? I enjoyed the video a lot btw.
