      Arguably FOD runner was the first one to start the sub XX series sponsored by Soar (although he's now Saysky). The other British CZcamsrs have started similar now but FOD was the first one I saw start the trend of a day by day each week at least recently

    Great work Cole! Last hard workout of the block for me yesterday, 3x 5k with a 1k float. Effort was close enough for a good stimulus, it'll be nice to run on fresh legs though. Also Nike have got some Vaporfly 2 on sale for £135 if anyone is interested.

    the following might be out of context, I want to ask something regarding running posture.. I just got back from a run and I have to stop due to pain on my right shoulder, I can’t take it and have to finish it prematurely… Im trying to have 30 minutes session, but only do 20 minutes of walk-jog session, any ideas on how to run more comfortably?

    • @ColeRunning
      @ColeRunning  Před 11 měsíci

      I’ve been very fortunate with generally not getting any pain when running, but I do lots of drills and S&C to ensure I have a good strong set of postural muscles so that my form doesn’t change too much when running :) maybe look into that?

      One cause could be clenching your hands whilst running. That will create tension in your shoulders. Ideally hold you hands loose and very lightly touch your index finger with your thumb. Hope this helps.

    Cole, please for the love of all that is holy, stop with this new format of video. 15 minutes on the couch talking about strava screenshots is tough to get through brother. It's the worst part of the trend in Matt Fox's recent video series, as a point of comparison, where we all love the information when its mixed into the sweat elite training footage. Respect the full story, transparency and details, but if you're going to stick with it please massage it into the week's footage. @theFODrunner or @mattruns18 formats for week reviews are easier to get through, but understandably are a ton of work, both summarizing on video the day of, and then overlaying the information after the fact. You and @BenIsRunning have always had great b-roll, pre/post, and action content, so keep up the great work there. would love if @colerunning resisted the urge to give into the shoe/product review market, or the how-to clickbait market, but we understand there are economics at play. respect the channel, big time.

      I appreciate the feedback! This is my first proper series on the channel so it is first and foremost and experiment! However, the feedback has been very heavily positive and I enjoy personally watching these style of videos. I will try my best to add more b-roll footage and resist the cringe content creator side... as you say there are economics in play - in todays day and age if I want my video to get watched the thumbnail has to be clickable so I try my best to always tell the truth in the thumbnail. Again, thanks for the feedback... maybe ill do it differently next time!
