Ezra Black Speech Graduation 2022

On Thursday, September 29th, Ezra Black lost his battle with cancer.
Though the cruel disease took the LCHS Class of 2022 alumnus and School Captain from us, those who knew him are fully convinced Ezra passed on in victory. Everyone who knew him loved him - everyone. Throughout his time at LCHS, he led his constituency, his faculty, and all adults who work here in the school’s Capstone and Keystone Virtues.
When the mighty Class of 2022 graduated last May, its members elected Ezra to articulate the cohort’s farewell sentiments. His remarks were prescient and profound. He shared how his harrowing experiences facing his own mortality shaped his perspective on life and faith. I highly commend Ezra’s inspired words to everyone.
