FUN FACT: "Shoot the Kili" translates to " Shoot the parrot" but also sounds like a Tamil sentence "Sootha Kili" which translates to " To bust someone's ass ". To avoid being censored due to the explicitly of this line, they changed the lyric to "Shoot the Kuruvi" which means "Shoot the Sparrow". But within the song, you can see they sing - "God shot my Kili NOT Kuruvi" which is like an Easter egg to reveal what they actually mean. To summarize, this song about the character getting his ass busted.
This song has so many comic references, these guys will not get it even if they have subtitles 🤣😜

Kuruvi simply means bird, not a specific bird, sparrow. The word bird here refers to the male genital. The song is about a guy with ED. That's why it says God removed he trousers and shot his bird
The song is actually about the mistakes that the lead character and his friends had done that brought them to the verge of being killed whichever way they choose to go. They now have no options other than being killed by one of those people in the background. This song is literally their realisation that they're fucked up... It's supposed to be funny for us with the double meaning lyrics...

First he sings shoot the kuruvi which literally translates to shoot the sparrow but then he says no shoot the killi , which means shoot the parrot, but shuutakili means “tear you arse” in tamil , so there is lot of word play and even people who know the language maynot understand all of it
So the actual meaning is “god took of my pants and tore my arse “

its a old tamil comedy that when you say "shoot the kili" fast repeatedly it translates to a profinite word .. They just made the song lyrics indirect towards that phrase.. The movie is funny full of dark humor..
