Like several others, I’d have to move Angrax up. He is the sole reason you can have several weaker chaos in Onslaught and still survive. He is also the sole reason lots of people can make LRE progressions otherwise impossible. Typhus is tankier, Harken hits harder, Rotbone can heal, Volk and Archi are far better in GR…. But Angrax can clear every enemy from a spawn point (except swarms) in one turn and every other turn it spawns. NO other character from any faction can do that.
I agree, his usefulness in those game modes is massive. I think the ultimate reason he didn't wind up as top tier was the fact his usefulness in GR and PVP is almost non existent.
@@DZGJayce Doesn't make sense when he's the best character in the entire game for legendary events. Not just the best Chaos, the best period. This same reason makes him the top Chaos character for Onslaught, letting you get shards for Chaos characters and Xenos badges. When played smart, he can also be used effectively in PVP and Arena, where his Deep Strike can get him close to the enemy, and if you get him between a group of enemies, you've effectively stopped them from being able to move or they risk losing lots of HP, and since his own HP and Armor are above average, this tactic can keep the enemy bunched up for someone like Sarquel, Thaddeus, Azrael, Morvenn Vall, Volk, Imospekh, as well as Psykers paired with Toth and/or Vindicta paired with Ahriman, to nuke them and leave a pile of enemy corpses within a turn. His active hits multiple adjacent enemies, so Angrax is the best suited for this tactic which counters enemies from turtling. Also, he's more valuable for Guild Raids than many assume. For Guild Bosses who spawn a bunch of minions that move after spawning in, he can clear them out with his passive which keeps hexes around ranged characters free, so they can always be able to fire their ranged attack which is their primary damage dealing source.

Angrax should be right behind Archie. His goaltending ability is valuable beyond measure in Onslaught and similar events.

I have been a big Toth fan, so I would move him up. I love how tanky he is, that respawn has saved me once or twice, plus the fyre missiles are just fun when paired with Archi on the higher level Cadia levels.
Thanks for the super informative video! As a relatively new player I haven’t got access to the majority of these characters but it was interesting to see the ranking and how you rated angrax who I haven’t used much aside from in the campaign. You’ve given me an idea of what to work towards so thanks again!
That's one mighty tierlist, thank you very much! Chaos is my favorite faction : ) I'm still early in the game, but Haarken is by far my top performer right now who singlehandedly propelled me into Honour Guard league. He basically kills one character every turn and I can use him to snipe the biggest threats or healers. Paired with Eldryon he does a lot of dmg in GR as well. Strong early game characters help you get the ball rolling and maybe deserve a bit more recognition : ) I also pulled Corrodius as maybe even my first character and Maladus is just great with him. I wouldn't rate him as weak even without his support. He tanks and smashes a lot even when not all that upgraded.
I got Toth on the alt account and immediately pulled Corrodius afterwards. I was like "well, Toth, you had a split second where I considered bringing you". Glad you like it mate, unfortunately Haarken falls off pretty hard. I had him as my top char for a while.
As a new player i would say that Haarkan should be loves up. He is radialt available for newer players and can help remove large threats in events and pvp. With his scaling and high mobility, he is a solid assassin that you can make very strong fairly fast and easily.

Re "what I would change", I think Maladus deserves to be higher. While not as efficient as the Imperial Turtle, he comes in clutch for the Chaos Turtle for LRE.

Congratulation for the milestone first. I agree with the mass, Angrax is one of my must have regarding onslaught and lengendary events. In fact it was my first character upped to gold1. Definitively TIERS1 for those kind of events. Also I really enjoy using yazagor for is movement and the ability to redeploy a psycher unit, can be very usefull in offensive or defensive mode. Maybe not in arena because he is not resilient but very nice with typhus to let him deliver is active or to boost Abraxxas active I would probably up him from one rank. See you in your next video!
Angrax definitely bumped to S tier. Upraded and having his gear ranked up, he can carry so hard in legendart events, onslaught etc. etc. Great videos and breakdowns keep up the good work!
I have my Angrax sitting at Gold 2, he does alot of work for me :D
Angrax is my boy, first turn line of sight and passive smash is next level. I use Maladius a lot too but tbf I had to advance him so I stood a chance on Fall of Cadia as I lacked any other Chaos dudes. Levelled up he’s a hard hitter! Good luck with your channel, good stuff!

Congratulations on being a part of the creators! I saw some of your videos before and loved the content. Happy you’re being recognized. Loved the information on this list especially abraxas. I did not know he can summon up to 12 units paired with yaza. I have been using a mix of Angrax and haarken, I’m updating my characters for the upcoming event. I’m huge on PvP and I feel like Haarken did not get the recognition. When eld and haarken work together I can take down the majority of characters with haarken or get them down to their 1hp and use Elds active. I typically get placed in PvP >1000 using haarken. Also he’s so easy to get to legendary. I was disappointed seeing him not in the strong category plus he can make a lot of orks flee in events with his active. He’s on the buff side, and can be played as a nice dps player. As I kill more and more minions, more and more of them flee.
He falls off a cliff unfortunately in late game :(
That’s a bummer. I’m only level 33 right now. Started a few months ago. But after seeing his diamond 2 stats I could see that being way lower. How unfortunate. Thanks for the response!

Great video, awesome work! I really want the Attempted Possession to be good, let’s hope it gets some use in guild raids. I just think it’s a nice way to confuse and spread despair amongst the enemies of the Changer of Ways.

Congratulations with official recognition from SP. Great video as always. For the tier list i would actually put Rotbone in average box due to his low perfomance outside of LRE and campaign. Yeah, he can be used in other mods and can bring some usefulness to chaos onslaught increasing overall survivability but it will require using a significant amount of recources and it won't change an outcome in most cases.
I may have overvalued him a bit based on the healer trait to be fair.
Ahriman is def top tier. :)
Very excited to use a full psycher lineup.
Other than that I feel healers like Rotbone are very important especially for LRE's

I would move Angrax up as he has so many uses, his passive, his deep strike, his tankyness, etc. I'm curious if we will see some World Eaters in the game one day...

Hello DZG Jayce! I really like the format of the video - the randomness of the wheel is a good concept.
Your speech is also very calm, well articulated and easy to listen to. Props for that - one can either watch the video, or listen to it in the background with just as good effect.
When it comes to the list itself - I think Maladus should be average. He is a chonky boi that can take a punch, cleave hit or multi-hit swarms. The only problem is he is too slow for his toughness - maybe if they make him tougher still, it wouldn't be a problem. I feel like Angrax' extra movement and deep strike more than make up for the fact that he is comparatively less tanky than Maladus.

Hi there! In advance want to tell that i joined game about month ago or so, and excidentelly got your video about whom/what to upgrade first for begginers, where you already told to collect eldryon, archimatos, angrax and few other chars, so in this video you approved that Archimatos, Angrax are worth of upgrading, thanks to your old video for new players, im glad that start to collecting them and now they are quite usefull)
Im not sure that i can change somthing in your list, cuz i dont have yet all chaos characters, well, im glad i got Archi, Abraxas and Angrax with Haarekn, and rotbone, its actually a perfect team for campaign)
Be honest, would be happy to see more of such videos in future about other factions, and again Thankyou for cool guide!

This is great especially for newer players. The amount of time I spent looking at "who should I level up next?" - well people can view this and easily select a character. Neat.
Thanks brother, new players was the initial goal and the whole reason I broke it up into factions instead of doing a huge master list. This way they could prioritize chaos resources better.

Not gonna lie, they are gonna be quite a daunting task!
I think Angrax should have been top tier to start with but with the screamer killer’s neurothrope prime being vulnerable to melee, he’s now useful in guild raids as well so has to move up. Even Pestilian might have a use against the other prime but I’d still leave him at the bottom. I unlocked Yaz and hadn’t realised characters could start so weak!
Probably the best tier video I’ve seen. Feel like I actually learned about the characters and game and not just X > Y.
A combo for arena that looks awesome on paper but I haven’t been able to gear up yet is
1. Thaddeus active to suppress any overwatch
2. Abraxas active to start the summon train
3. Yag active to bring Typhus in range
4. Typhus active to tag everything with psychic damage
5. Toth active to cleanup whatever is still alive.
As for Abbadon, I use him in my arena team as anti overwatch. With move 3, terminator armor and resilient it’s pretty easy to absorb a big hit from Calandis/Sarquel and make the way aafe for the rest of the team.
Fantasitc work! For me personally i would up angrax and drop typhus, not enough experience with thousand sons but i saw some things with tzaangor that seemed op af
I see the potential uses when the stars aligned for Yazaghor, but the results I had were sad.
Nice list, I would agree with you assessment. I don't know about the TS characters yet but some of my are building them with the psychic nid for Morty.

Great list. The only one I would change, is a bump up for Angrax. So helpful for smashing those x number of Ability damage missions.

I have not played enough yet to know if I would change any characters. I only have 4 chaos characters so far and Haarken is by far my most powerful one.

Love these long form videos with in depth character/game analysis and congrats on becoming an official Tacticus content creator!
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head with the list but I think I would personally change Abaddon and Maladus. For Abaddon, I would put him in the weak tier, the reason for this is that he is simply very underwhelming, especially for a Legendary character. I don't feel he has any real use in any game mode other than being support in the FoC campaign, but even then I would rather take other characters. His active is really hard to pull off at the right time, without draining his health and it is such a shame because it hits really hard. I really hope SP buff Abaddon at some point as he is definitely the worst of the legendary hero's currently.
I would put Maladus in the Average tier as well, I think a lot of people really underestimate him. He can be very useful in the campaign, especially with his terminator armour and general tankiness, soaking up those damn las cannon shots! I've also found him very useful in LRE, especially when you need to turtle with characters around someone like Rotbone. Using Maladus, Rotbone and Angrax I managed to get through several levels in the last Shadowsun event. When you can get his active and passive leveled up he is really useful at clearing enemies 2 or 3 at a time. Also with his 3 hits, means he can help get rid of the scarabs quickly.
Other than that, I would agree with your placements. A small suggestion for when you get around to doing the Xenos and Imperial lists, it might be worth separating the weak and needs testing characters out, having a separate tier for each.
I have plenty of thoughts for buffing Abaddon!
And yes the needs testing category will no longer be in my tier lists as I can test any character with the test account :D

I would put Angrax in S tier.
Utterly clutch for any Onslaught or LRE event, plus this deepstrike and Terminator armour makes him super useful in campaign

I would like to see Abaddon go up someday. I think if SP could buff his passive there would be a reason to take him out for multiple modes.
I'm working on a series where I talk about how to "fix" under valued characters. Abaddon is like #1 on that list of people I'd love to see buffed.
Great vid bud. Im fairly new so not much comment on were they all fall but on my account Haarken carries my battles whenever i use him. I feel he will be Strong for a long time

A couple things from your video… at 54:45 you said that Abaddon has flying trait, which he doesn’t.
The only other thing I might say is that an argument could be made for Toth to be one click higher on the list because he could be useful in Shadowsun legendary character event.
Maybe in general, something that would be helpful would be a visual showing #1 if you don’t have this character, is there a reason to farm it? #2 if you have it, should you take it to silver or higher for a LE?

Wonderful format Jayce! Like many others I was craving for a tier list with in-depth analysis that is both methodical and well explained. Please keep it up!
Things I would change specifically on this tier list:
- Yazhagor is better than you give it credit, esp. its interaction with Abraxas (it allows Abraxas to summon at 2 different spots in the same turn. I have seen an Abraxas create 7 summons turn 2 in TA). My ranking: Average
- Toth also needs to go up a tier due to its synergy with Typhus and the Thousand Sons. He can finish several enemy characters with one active and I have seen it work in practice (TA). Also he is a fantastic character for LRE due to his potent self heal. My ranking: Average
- Abaddon and Haarken at medium tier is a bit too aggressive, both of them are not that good in my opinion and I am playing with both on a daily basis. My ranking: Weak (Aba) & Weak/Pass (Haarken)
- Ahriman at "weak" is very conservative, even though he lacks testing. I think a Thousand Sons setup will certainly use him in the successful TA lineup (Yazha/Toth/Abraxas/Typhus/Ahriman). I cannot assess how good he is in guild raids without testing, so my personal ranking would be: Average (potentially Strong)
- I agree with all your other rankings and I am thankful that you were realistic with some characters that others tend to overvalue!
Ah a Toth Typhus combo would be very strong good point!
Yazaghor has great interactions, but I've yet to find a place he can excel in using them.
Abaddon and Haarken I feel are underwhelming but I don't know if they'd fit in at weak.
Ahriman will be moving up, he's there solely for the "needs testing"

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the Chaos characters and it was a good vid. I've been frustrated with Haarken since he seems so easy to kill. Pounf for pound he's weak and i would drop him a level. I've got him leveled up but all the Lascannons seem to target him since he's so "squishy!" Lol
Great vid and great job. Going to be a bit of a yazagor and repeat that angrax should be in the top tier. As for range and movement I really think the emperor's children would make a great addition to the game.

I think Yazaghor have great potential to teleport Typhus ou Abraxas to use their activ skill. Useful in arena and TA ;)
I love the Yazaghor synergy potentials so fun.
I got typhus in the very beginning of the game in one of my first reqs and he for sure carried me and not slowed down yet (power level 29). His ability to wipe the arena AI is so satisfying and im so lucky to have gotten him
Amazing video, very useful. I'm still new to the game, not sure what to change. Probably tho i would place corrodius above harkan, just for the summons.
Those summons are satisfying! But very squishy :(

My favourite character is Volk, even though I dont own him...))) and Im pleased how you descibed him.
Angrax definitely carries me through campaign though with his tankiness.
Toth passive makes him one of the best tank characters

I'd move angrax up. I love using him to tank lascannons damage using his forward deployment and he's an excellent roadblock in onslaught too . I park him in front of a Tyranid spawning point and he gives a hit to those moving to attack the other members of the team.

Im pretty new to the game so this tier list helps on who to focus on, I really wanna get abraxas now for the fall of cadia campaign
That was the big goal of the list, I saw way too many people use rare orbs on Maladus while still having an uncommon Archimatos :( I really wanted to break it up into factions before I did a master list of every character ranked.
Rank up your Aeldari characters since you'll need them for the Samm-Haim campaign where you'll get Abraxas. He starts to get real good at Silver II and a one star Epic.
Liked the video. Have been subscribed for a while. Im quite glad you started off with the chaos faction btw. #bestfaction. Did wish haarken placed higher as he was my carry all the way through fall of cadia. Btw should just call top tier the archie tier cause hes just chilling up there by himself. Hopefully when we get our fourth chaos faction ingame their will be more of a spot for some of our weaker links to shine.
Definitely need more chaos units!!! I've got way too many badges that need to be used. And stay tuned for an update. I don't think archi will be alone for long 😀

Interesting thing I've noticed about pestilian: the hardest hitter in my guild (GR#178 last season - we're not the top, but we're decent) uses him for extra smash off cally and Ra to great effect. Had totally written him off but for that, where he seems to genuinely add value similar to Chaddeus but without being as squishy. Could make it out of Pass off the back of that, with testing maybe...
I agree with many of the others and would move Angrax up... again due to the Guild Raid factor... setting him up between 2 bodes and watching him wipe out 90% of the spawns in a wave is key to making it through higher levels

Best place for Haarken is the powerup tournament. You give that boi some health and he'll show you a team-kill.
Surprised to see Volk recommended for guild raids, will give him a go.
I'd put Typhus above Rotbone, and Yaz being able to fling a Typhus nuke is really cool. It's usually not massively impactful as the typical arena strategy of range-edging will almost always get you a good nuke anyway, but it can be an advantage to instead rush the battlefield turn 1 when you see Chaddeus, Shosyl, Vahl, Ra, or anything that has a lot of range on it, or sometimes if you just have a really tight map that forces a turn 1 confrontation but also has the enemy just out of reach of Typhus.

Volk is the #1 ranged multi hitter in the game if you don't have Maugan Ra.
Congrats on the Snowprint deal! I'm a big Yazaghor fan & would like to see him moved up a tier, but I admit to being biased. He & Typhus are like a married couple. He's also very usable even at common w/o any further investment. Your drawback of his vulnerability to overwatch is valid. An additional vulnerability is Sarquael whose return fire passive can take him out before he gets a chance to finish his active, b/c of Yaz's ambiguous active targeting.

Death Guard needs a complete do over, I'm all for having a faction with 2 tiles movement but they need a big thing in return especially since all of their character are melee only (except Typhus) having resilient isn't compensating enough.
Some characters need to be upgraded on an individual level (particularly Maladus, Corodius and Pestillian) and their trait buffed (why not apply another nerf as the AoE increases: 1st decrease armour, 2nd: decrease attack, 3rd: half the number of hit).
Now you got a faction that represent a genuine threat on the board, although not crazy either because games rarely go past turn 5, plus if you're to cagy in PvP you won't get the buffs/ area in domination.
Although modifying the trait might be complicated with balance and whatnot they could just make tiny adjustment to atleast make them relevant (Maladus gets deepstrike, Corodius gets a two tile range attack, Pestillian gets a 3 tiles movement, they'd still be shit but at least enjoyable to play in arena, I think..
I also hope Arihman turns out to be that guild raid boss slayer I think he is

Perhaps we will see exactly that if they ever create a campaign for them! Some people speculate DG vs T'au but I doubt it's a priority for the devs atm
Angrax going up to top tier would be my change, such a carry in the LRE's just obliterating summons, turns so many levels into an Idle game 😋

Now I'm still kinda new to the game, but with the units I have at my disposal and what i know of the other units I do agree on your list.
Might argue a bit on Angrax, since he carry me through the campaign and onslaught, to put him in the lower top tier.

Im new, and my angrax is ill equipped and low tier. However his first move has worked wonders for me in pvp. In that I place him closest to the enemy while I strategically place the others. He agros the entire team and gives me an early boost to my commisar’s ability, which pretty much one shots 75% of the enemies. It’s worked so far lol

Haven't got enough characters unlocked to make any suggestions on different placements but the info you give here is really useful! Maladus is definitely 💩 because of M2.. Angrax and Harkanen seem relatively similar both good but nothing particularly spesh.

@@DZGJayceguild raids mpv character, mostly if The map have spawn points 1 square betwin eths other sow he can camp 2 areas is Nice. And lets rest of characters try close other spawn points to reduce enemys spawning.
Abraxas is also my fav Chaos unit. It takes some positioning to maximize his demons, but if you pull off a good summoning chain, he can clear boards. I team him with Neuro in guild raids for that extra spicy sauce 👌

I would make the character portraits to be squares instead of circles
But for the actual tier list I would place Maladus at average behind corro, his waveclear is terrifying and he is extremely tanky, when he manages to get close to the enemies he can kill 2-3 units and maybe make others flee, also he can tank the lasguns pretty nicely. The worst things are his movement of 2 and the positioning to attack 2-3 units

Great video and also i like the Deep Dives very much and Chaos as well.
I personally think Rotbone is Top Tier at the moment and Archi falls bebind a fair bit due to the nerves they did to his summons so I would probably switch them out. Also I would put Maladeus higher as he is a beast of a tank in LREs and really easy to get your hands on in the beginning of the game.
And I was worrying I overvalued Rotbone, glad to see some people agree with me!
I feel you are really undervaluing Yaz. His active can be a huge deal if you can find an angle to get a hit in, especially if you have a Typhus since Yaz can warp Typhus in, Typhus active activates Yaz passive adn then he gets 5 move and 3 range to really pick people off.
I honestly think Yazaghor needs one of two things to move up

Hey, great video. I would move Toth up in the rankings. The damage combination from aoe psychic attacks, combined with his active, is enough to wipe out most arena teams in 1 turn.

i think that yazaghor need infiltrate as a trait and also apply it to the targeted allie with his active
and would be cool if the (let the galaxy burn) works similar to sibyll active skill so several chances to apply several hits on the same target or targets adjacent to the affected target "chain damage" could be a bit lower chances as well so it doesn't break the game
I agree, it would fix alot of the characters issues for PvP!
Angrax top tier for me. Only one carrying me in few places still new to game so is helping a lot when i lack units

I would increase angrax to top tier just because he really is usable for LRE and not just onslaught. This allows you to open up other units to really broaden your roster, which is a secondary, ancillary concept for a character. Easy to get, and lets you grow faster is better than best in GR and PVP for growing a player.
I would put Maladus one tier up. Initially, I too thought he was sluggish, not super useful, just to have one more character on the map. As I progressed I realized he is a must for higher level onslaught, and there are LREs where he is priceless.

Haven’t gotten a single 1k sons unlocked or ever a shard yet- but my WORD do I love me some Angrax. When I forward deploy him in onslaught, it never fails to make me giggle. WHAM. WHAM. WHAM. WHAM. *fleeeeeee*

Maladus is a beast in LRE, he's also the tankiest boi that is just given to you, and lots of shards. He's a very easy way to clear FOC elite, especially if you got rotbone. Until I got abraxas, angrax and maladus basically cleared everything with archi summons and haarken hiding
As a new player this guide serves as a good way for what characters to prioritize. I wish I had seen this on day 2 or 3 of starting Tacticus.
That said I can't wait to see the combined video of all Characters.
Abraxas and Archimotos are my goto characters 2 weeks into gameplay.

Im a totally chaos guy and I do also like abraxus very much. I only see yazaagor more useful, especially combing with abraxus and archi, taking in consideration full chaos squads. Especially while death guards are hard to obtain. Anyway my dream team for chaos is definitely archi abraxus arhiman typhus corrodius
Well, as far as i understand problem with maladus, but simple tunings like adding corrodius (for +1 movement) or Rotbone (this combo carries most of LRE or OS!) hes total beast. i must say that hes deserves Average minimum. And as you said, hes unkillable, and hit like a truck!
i'm currently testing maladus on tanksmasha, he can easily get 2-5 kills per turn with his passive, battle fatigue, and barrel bombs. as i currently haven't seen many promising tanksmasha strats, i'm optimistic this guy can be meta in this niche sub-boss
I agree with pretty much everything, only minor suggestions.
Maladus to average, he does so much damage and has termi armor for tanking lascannons.
Yaz to weak, he has good synergy with Abraxas in TA and possibly Morty fight (still testing).
Typhus down to average. He’s strong in certain scenarios but is really just there to wind and tank shots until death after.
And finally Abraxas to top tier. His passive is truly insane for guild raid and the number of summons he can put out is absurd.

I feel Angrax covered the tanky role much better in campaign due to deep strike.
And the Yaz synergy is awesome, and I find it super satisfying. I've also seen some recent Morty testing using Yaz, but I feel it would be better with another character in his position.
I personally relied on others for the Typhus placement since I don't have him, but him being a tanky psyker for psyker LRE requirements helped too.
With Ahriman now out (I had zero testing with him or solid info when I recorded this) Abraxas' value does go up quite a decent deal, maybe enough to move him up. He actually was instrumental in me beating FoC Elite 40. His summons are a bit harder to use effectively than Archi, and the big reason I feel he places above is the anti psyker aspect too.
It's a living list we shall see how it changes!

My change to the tier list would be moving my poor boy Yaz up a notch, just for synergy with Abraxas. It's essentially a summon refresh, which is the main factor that has people placing Aun Shi high on their lists.
Shhh don't tell Yngvarr.
I think the main reason Aun'shi is rated so highly is more so Bellator and Yarrick to be honest.
Notes
Maladus is good at clearing out swarms(can take out up to 3 enemies per turn) which is nice for LE. So I'd put him in average.
Battle fatigue gets +40% when overkilled(so 50% not 40%)
I think that Thaum's shield is going to be interesting in GR. Specifically Morty. It might make it so that you could use melee characters. But you are right, more testing is needed.

And for LRE he's semi useful sure but doesn't really fit too many categories that aren't needing more help. Not say like Pierce or physical which have been struggling, I still stick with weak lol.
I don't ever see a world Thaumachus comes into Morty even if it enabled helbrecht, perhaps Corrodius but I gotta test that still.
@DZGJayce You may be right. But a high level Tjark nerfing Morty's damage, and doing tons of damage himself(and surviving because of thaums shield) could be worth it. And Ragnar is also looming and making me wonder.
@@danielsorensen8444 D2 does change some things for Tjarks valuation and he now outperforms Roswitha in terms of Anti Psyker (ofc Ros having a ranged attack helps alot) and I'm very excited to see how Ragnar will change the meta up!
I think a slept-on combination will be Yazaghor and Thaumacus in the TA with Thau's ability to take control of summons which seem to be fairly meta
I don't 100% have a great feel for Thaumachus yet and while the possession is cool, it really fell flat for me :(
I'd move Pestilian to weak/needs testing. Recently got him from requisition and I'm having fun in arena with: Pestilian, Maladus, Nauseus, Haarken and Eldryon, His direct damage in arenas help a lot with Bellator and other tough cookies.
I feel he needs alot of investment to be "semi-usable" :(
Another fan of angrax here. Higher on the list, but otherwise, spot on. Not entirely sure about the thousand sons characters yet, but that's mostly because none of mine are high enough yet.

@DZGJayce No worries! The biggest "downside" to Angrax is his limited use in arena and GRs. IMO, in every other game mode, he's a beast, single handedly carrying onslaughts up until the mid 30s. I'd really like to see how abraxas does once mine gets a bit more...experience. It almost feels as if Abraxas's summons are too weak right now, but the possibility of having up to 12 of them running around using Yaz's active becomes a nightmare.

In general I agree with the list. Probably, I do consider putting Angrax and Rotbone in S tier.
Also, kind of disappointed with TS... expected them to be a DG analogy for PVP but it seems they aren't equal, unfortunately. They need a healer. Toth's healing doesn't help much for the rest TS characters which are made of glass...
Abraxas is my new favorite character as well.

For me Rotbone really saved me big time. Onslaught is really unplayable in higher levels without a healer. So I ran out of xenos badges big time... Which hampered my complete progress. Also in LRE a healer is king.
Haarkan Needs to move up because his herald of the apocalypse ability helps set in battle fatigue to make enemys flee

I think Toth is amazing. Move 2 is slow, but range 3 on active gives him an effective range like the psykers he supports, and lets you position better, because he and the psykers don't fight for the same hexes to be in range. He can also just trigger most over watches, and in live arena you can push with him into enemy threat range, because of his passive.
I'd put him in strong, but at least avarage.
I'd love him for him to be able to use his active without needing an initial target, or have deep strike.
Great video, maybe too long, but having timestamps helps with that. Everyone should have their own tier list, as not everyone has the same characters unlocked or prefers one game mode over another, but overall this is a great guide. Could you include information on how much each character is worth upgrading?
I feel like there was value added having it be this long for an initial go at it. All updates in the future will be shorter! The other initial tier lists will be pretty long though :/
Hi, great work, great charakter overview with everything on one page. The only thing i'd change ist putt Typhus on average. Compared to the other average charakters he does Not perform any better 'cause of 2 move. I am always happy to see Typhus on the other side, cause he is so easy so outplay, and i'd never use him outside of LE/Onslaught. Abbadon für example has at least some play in Tournament (Draft) GR (5 Hit Energy, big Ability Hit vs Ghaz), he is tanky as well 3 Move and has a Ranged, 3 differend dmg tipes for LE. Abbadon is right at Average. Typhus might do some things better, but is way more limited.

Does alpt of heavylifting in several important parts of the game.
If there is more chaos coming to Tacticus I hope they add some mobility (Khorne/Slaanesh) and shooting (Noise Marines) to give some variety when playing pure Chaos.

Do believe that Haarken should be placed higher in the list. He is a great damage dealer, a he is tanky enough to survive for a long time. Plus the damage type is piercing, which is helpful to say the least, AND he gets more damage for every enemy killed
Maladus is my go to for arena, he can tank most overwatch, and when he gets into combat he smacks. I lost so many teams to Re'vas etc before I started to take Maladus, movement 2 is not hard to work with, and he is often the last one still standing in legends etc.
In AI PvP he can definitely have his uses, but in terms of TA and actual Player vs Player you can just kite him out and make him look very goofy. But if he does connect with a hit, boy does it hurt.

Mostly agree with everything. I would bump up Toth due to his usefulness with a self heal. For LRE and when farming ability damage with Angrax
