This was the game that made me fall in love with soccer. One of the most exciting and inspirational things I’ve ever seen and it was a 0-0 result. Thank you, T&T. I am neither West Indian nor Swedish. But my soccer love began the morning this game was played.

I have watched the tribute to the Soca Warriors video over 30 times, and have cried every time. It is the most inspirational soccer video I have ever watched. That team in that game shocked the world. They had to play with one man down when Avery was shown a yellow card that was not legitimate. So, these guys had to hold back Sweden with its superstars with one man down. Hislop was also out of control amazing. He kept them in the game. T&T had a few chances to score...they could have beaten that powerhouse team.THAT, my friends, showed how good T&T really were.
Hislop was right in saying that they they had enough to surprise a few teams. They surprised all three teams that they played in that World Cup. England had to cheat to beat Trinidad & Tobago...and it is disgusting that the referees allowed that against the smallest country ever to qualify for the World Cup.
I am glad that videos like these are posted so that people will know how good of a team miraculously came together out of two small islands....the smallest country ever to field a team in the World Cup. Congratulations brothers. I can not even tell you what you have done for me...and I am not even Trinidadian. Congratulations is the least you deserve!!!

@@markmolino6091 the refereeing in that england game was atrocious indeed......that's why when christie was throwing himself down in the quarterfinal and caused England to go out on penalties, i rell laugh
