i have this scooter, what i did with the latching folding mechanism was remove it completely from the deck, just unscrew the two screws and remove the latch and screw them back in. that was one of the things i really hated about the scooter. Also, i recently have to bleed or fill the brakes with fluid and i have no idea what funnel tip will fit it. I'm in the process of figuring that out now.

Im not sure about the rules and regulations where you live, but here in France every scooter has to have a speed restriction/ limit of 25km/h, i know there has got to be a way to disable it, so i can use the scooter at its full speed, do you guys know how to take off the speed restriction on this particular scooter? 9:14 They need to make that latch on the deck to be allow to lie flush with the deck then you pull it up with your finger to click it onto the handlebars when you want to fold it.
It would be cumbersome to pull up the latch but most people rarely fold their scooter but people will want to put there feet in that exact spot where the latch sits all the time.
    That's a real design flaw.

‘K, I’ve owned the old ‘Bots; X4, D3, D4, and D5+2.0. The only one that survived electrical problems is my first one, the X4, which I STILL have😅.
Obviously I tried to stay with the company, but eventually common sense set in. I’ve switched to Dualtron. Zero electrical issues. Better build quality. I still have the D5+2.0, HAD electrical issues with it and have since purchased and received all new: battery, front and rear controllers and key assembly. While I was waiting for all these things to arrive I bought a THUNDER and never looked back. One day I’ll install all these parts on the ‘Bot and hopefully sell it. It WAS a fun, fast scooter with a built in burglar alarm but the front suspension is a joke and I’m not really trusting the folding mechanism. Good braking especially if you use the regen, which I always did to conserve brake pads.
I just don’t trust a company that (1) gives faulty information on battery charging; and (2) screws up a “speed” selling point😂😂 ie under reporting speed

It seems that Nanrobot likes to lag behind the competition😂! The scooters are already obsolete before they were released. Their 10-inch models still run on 52V, while their actual flagship, the LS7+, only runs on 60V. Still no adjustable suspension (rebound) like the Kaabo or Nami. The headlight sucks too, crappy cells, terrible packaging etc.pp. I like the fact that Nanrobot is trying to represent the off-road space, but their scooters have so many flaws that prevent me from buying any of their products.

Poor customer service, and negligent packaging! Will be buying another brand for sure! Why put a kickplate without being able to use it? I saw durring the test your rear foot was on the plate! More negligence from Nanrobot. Thanks for the review!

@freshly charged This is what has turned me away from electric scooters now a days you pay thousands of pounds for a scooter & the only include a 2amp charger rather than a 5amp charger or bigger with the cost of most scooters now a days costing in the thousands you would expect a bigger faster more quality charger than what they give you in the box or at least give you 2 chargers if it has 2 charge ports not just a cheap generic Chinese made charger that cost them probably between £5-£10 or $5-$10 to make it is a joke when you spend that sort of money on a scooter also why don't they ship them in a solid wooden box to stop the damage in shipping or at least double box them with extra padding to prevent the scooter from getting damaged during transport if this was my scooter I would send it back & ask for a replacement due to it getting damaged during shipping especially when it is an integral part of the scooter that got damages that holds the stem together I would not even ride it like that because of the fear of the stem snapping or collapsing on me at any sort of speed no thank you

2:51 No metric measurements, only imperial, these reviewers must not realise that CZcams is global where 95% of the world use the metric system.
Not even little popups showing the metric equivalent!?

No one should buy this scooter until nanrobot addresses the poor packaging! Reminds me of the Nami launch and the scooters were arriving broken
