That part I honestly don’t remember. Look on the under side of the fuel pump the vent and or return doesn’t connect to the actual pump. The supply line you can trace all the way to the fuel rail. If all else fails try it and if you get fuel pressure at the fuel line you should be good lol.

The float for the sending is always detached on new ones ship the float or the float gearing doesn't get messed up
