Mr Indifferent is incredibly powerful. He succeeded in stopping a speeding car just by extending the arm and showing his hand in less than a fraction of a second, using some sort of telekinetic powers. I'm convinced he showed just 0.1% of his true potential, so I'm happy he decided to use his powers to help others.

This seems so relatable. In the beginning he doesn't help other people, and they don't, or barely notice him, but once he starts helping them they actually become grateful.
Really show how our society nowadays works where everyone expects they have to do everything themselves, and shows how small acts of kindness can have a big impact on the world.
Your value as a person doesn't go down if you don't do anything, but it does go up if you do help.

In my interpretation, Mr. Indifferent represents the everyman. Someone who doesn’t really care about other endeavors beside his own. He’s just an average stranger, not willing to help, instead just keeping to himself. But when he removes his hands from his pocket, he see’s that he can in fact do good. That inspires him to do good.
This deserves more likes tbh❤️❤️

I also see this film from the point of view that perhaps he was raised in an environment where his parents and others didn't show him much affection or interact with him much so he was a product of his environment. But I don't believe in those things, but I do have to be aware of it in my country as people do get offended if I use my left hand to, say, give money in. (My country is India, and my culture is Hindu)

Lol he is me. My anxiety used to be the cause of so many missed opportunities and stopped me from helping people when i really wanted to. People think it's because you don't care but in reality it's because you care so much that it feels crippling.
This was me, long long ago. Thankfully I left my old indifferent ways and embraced a more outgoing, friendly and confident life.

It's not so much of a guilt trip, as a story of discovery. It's letting folks who see nothing beyond themselves know the joy of being a part of something greater.
If you are ruggedly individual, that means you must have tried this route and not had it work out. And that's perfectly fine. Be as individual as you want. This is showing people that don't know that there's another way just in case they are a little... *indifferent*.

Love this short movie. We can all do some good in this world, no matter how small. I always try to help where I can, and I have a short story to tell.
One day on my way to get some groceries, I saw a man with his young son trying to get a ball out of the water, sadly it was just out reach. Being the kind one I offered to help, to I hold on to a lamp post with one arm and hold him with the other, allowing him to bend over deep without falling in the water. We got the ball out together, and they thanked me happy. I left with a smile on my face.
As a good man always says "It's good to be helping."
I remember one day when I had so much anger towards the world and everything was so dark I silently asked God to please help me get out of that darkness. That day I decided to walk home instead of take the usual ride from a coworker and on the way I came to a stoplight. While waiting for the crosswalk, a fragile old lady carrying a load of groceries that she should not have been carrying at that age came to the light beside me. Right away I offered to help her carry her groceries to her destination and she took me up on that offer. A few minutes in she grabbed onto my arm for support because I guess she was so tired from walking even without the groceries in her hands by this point. After I dropped her off I began to walk home and I remember feeling so warm inside and true happiness filled my mind. I know God set up that interaction because the feeling of warmth from that was real.
This video changed my life. I dress up as a blind person and touch stoic men all the time now.

I didn't really take social anxiety from this tbh, I was thinking the guy was more apathetic. His outlook on life changed when he nearly died, and having the elderly lady be grateful added onto that.

I have social anxiety and yes this does make me feel anxious but, if he were to pull his arm away from the lady and not help her, that would make me feel more anxious then helping the lady even if its forced on you. Not helping the lady makes you look like a dick and it would make me atleast, more anxious then not helping her and its like not helping her or helping her either way i would feel anxious but just more anxious towards not helping the lady.

The animation did not take a short amount of time. That’s the unfortunate part of animation. Maybe a few months of work, and finally a 2:45 video is completed.

It makes us look back on our usual behavior.
It feels like I can relate to this guy. I am afraid to open up, and shut everything around me. I cannot help others because I am afraid to be judged (since some people are not appreciative, and would give you high expectation instead). However, once you grow up opening your world is beneficial and you can still help esp. those who really need help.
Same here but I always like to help people but they still stab me in the back ,so I said fuck this and don't care anymore .
Change that, and embrace that guy inside who doesn't want to get hurt each time he does nothing, instead help others
Reminds me of me when I was a moody teenager. then into my early 20s I got pushed into becoming an EMT. It was an eye opener.
@@armyforlife7162 You only get 'stabbed in the back' by expecting things in return. Understandable to think this was when you're young, but random acts of kindness are easier once you're an adult.
