Yeah that’s 0.75 on 1600 jus do 1600 if u wanna switch. It’s pretty damn close to 1800 and u don’t have to do as much math. Probably like 0.65 on 1800 if your 1.5 on 800

Higher dpi has a lower input delay with smooth moderate speed strafe movements its less noticeable with fast flicks but is still there

i swapped from 1600 to 1800 like half a year ago and play 1.1, 0.9 ads.
My movement has been much smoother and more fluid since i swapped but some guns are a little janky if you don't learn the recoil like the car feels way to sensitive at times but snipers and shotguns are godly.
Why is 1800 better than 1600 though?
@@kit99bar the higher the dpi the quicker the reports are that means your mouse is quicker but also smoother aslong as you don't play with the same styles as a low sens player.
Plus when you get really good at movement tech you'll notice alot of tech uses very quick flicks which a high sens lets you do better and more consistent the main one is mantle jumps since your look direction dictates the height and direction you will go i do certain mantle jumps that give me full vertical height which lets me jump up 2 floors on certain ziplines and also makes it much easier to do mid gun fight as i can go from shooting someone to doing a jump in what feels like less than a frame i would say look at my yt but i don't make videos i just have thousands of unposted clips.

@@alittleeager1485 There is no benefit to 1800 dpi over 1600, you could just increase the in-game sens. at 1600 dpi, adding another 200 I can guarantee you won't notice any increase in smoothness.
Even the title of this video makes no sens when you consider nowhere else is the actual in-game sens mentioned.
The sens he actually plays is 0.56, which is around 0.63 at 1600dpi, so its actually a pretty low sens at 41.234cm per 360 compared to the 21 per 360 that you play.
@@v0HaVoK0v there is a clear difference between swapping your dpi to swapping your in game sens just because you increase your sens in game to make it quicker doesn't make it smoother. the higher your dpi the faster your mouse will report and also lower the input lag so if you play high dpi low sens your mouse would be smoother compared to high sens low dpi up to a certain point plus a 200 dpi increase is clearly noticeable unless you play using a cheap mouse and use windows pointer speed as your dpi try it out instead of using your reddit smooth brain to sound smart i've gone from 400 to 1800 and every increase from 400-800-1200-1600-1800 has been extremely noticeable.
@@alittleeager1485 You clearly have the smoothest brain here, there is barely a discernible difference in smoothness between 1600 and 1800. Because you won't be changing Windows sens for games, you'll be using raw input, which means the dpi won't be stretched and cause jitters or blocky motion. The movement will still be very smooth, and you won't notice much of a difference between those two DPIs; if you were talking about polling rate (the actual rate of your reports), it would make sense, but you aren't. Instead of getting upset because I disproved your nonsense, why don't you learn what you're talking about? You obviously have no clue. Above 1600, the difference in input lag is also negligible. Oh, and I don't use Reddit.

@eskyja Im just wondering like how did you get unlocked fps below 144 fps like okay my GPU is a 3070ti if I unlock fps it literally goes to 280+ fps unlocked which is well above my monitors max which is 165 which causes tearing so since I play at 144 too i use vsync on and then cap my fps at 143 with rtss so what r u doing to unlock and have it stay just below? I know unlocked fps is better for latency but tearing literally isn't just tearing at the screen it's tearing my eyes too XD. Help me out if u can or if anyone else knows anything thanks.
In-game VSync causes latency issues. NVidia Vsync can also unless you use Gsync and cap frames at 3 below refresh rate.
Turn off vsync and type +fps_max 0 into steam or origin launch option
There are many secrets in apex to play better that good players don't talk about.
